Senior Accountant-Domestic-(Pune on-site)

We are looking for an Senior Accountant to supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day activities. Senior Accountant Responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analysing, verifying and reporting information. We are also looking for someone to work closely with our financial management team and related Departments.

Purpose Of the role:

The main role of an Accountant is to collect, analyze, record and report the financial data of a company or an individual. They ensure that a company complies with all the government rules and regulations. Accountants also help analyze financial data to make data –driven business decisions.   

Key Accountabilities:

• Booking Sales Entries in Tally (updating sales sheet of PayPal and up work)  
• Booking Expenses/Purchases (Preparing TDS invoices)  
• Payment/Receipts Booking Intercompany Balances 
• Journal Entries
  (TDS, GST, Loans) 
• Earning MIS and Email communication  
• Making Daily online payments as per cash flow statement 
• GSTR1 Returns filing  
• GSTR3B Returns filing   
• GST Refunds working 
• Reconciliation of Sales, Purchase, Debit notes, credit notes and ITC mismatch 
• FIRC Collection and Summary 
• Reconciliation of GSTR1, GSTR3B, 2A, 2B and Books 
• Annual GST Return preparation and Auditing  
• LUT Renewal 
• TDS Booking and Calculation and Payment 
• TDS return filing data preparation and reconciliation with books 
• Advance Tax Payment  
• Payroll processing, PT, PF and ESI Payment and return filing 
• Admin work 
• Monthly MIS (P&L, Loan, Payroll, Cash Balances, Investments) 
• Petty Cash (Maintaining record of daily expenses and booking in Tally) 
• Co-coordinating with Banks, Auditor and Vendors, GST officer 
• Loan Reconciliations  
• Cash collection, withdrawals, Deposits  
• Daily payments as per list  
• Intercompany Balances reconciliation. 
• Tax compliance Notices and Audit Queries, if any 
• Debtors and creditors reconciliation 
• 26AS Reconciliation 
• RD, FD and Loan closure 
• Credit card Expenses 
• Filing and Backup 
• Credit Note, Debit Note and Bad Debts 

Educational Requirements & Competencies:-

EDUCATION: - M.com, MBA-Finance 

EXPERIENCE: - 3-5 years of relevant experience  

COMPETENCIES:  

• Proven working experience as Accounting Specialist or Senior Accountant 
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases 
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data 
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations 
• High attention to detail and accuracy  
• Ability to direct and supervise, Problem Solving  Skills
