Job Description – Senior Accountant Position Title: Senior Accountant Office Location: Pune, India (WFO) Qualification: M.Com / MBA – Finance Experience Required: 3–6 Years (with at least 1–2 years of team handling experience – minimum 2-3 members) Purpose of the Role The Senior Accountant will be responsible for supervising daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining statutory compliance. Reconciliation & Reporting  Review reconciliations of sales, purchases, ITC, debit/credit notes.  Ensure loan, debtors, creditors, and intercompany reconciliations are accurate.  Oversee 26AS reconciliation and compliance checks.  Manage FIRC collections & summaries.  Prepare and present monthly MIS reports (P&L, Cash Flow, Loan, Payroll, Investments) to management. Banking & Administrative Tasks  Act as a primary liaison with banks, auditors, GST officers, and vendors.  Oversee daily payments as per the cash flow plan.  Supervise cash collections, withdrawals, and deposits.  Manage credit card expenses, RDs, FDs, and loan closures.  Ensure proper documentation, filing, and data backups.  Review credit notes, debit notes, and bad debts management. Team & Process Management  Supervise, mentor, and support a team of 2–3 members.  Review work, provide training, and ensure team efficiency.  Streamline and improve accounting processes and documentation.  Support and implement internal process audits and compliance checks.
