Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

o  Identify, approach, and convert potential clients (importers, exporters, manufacturers, traders).

o  Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and trade lanes.

o  Build a pipeline of prospects and close high-value deals.


Client Relationship Management

o  Maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients. o Act as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.

o  Provide customized logistics solutions tailored to client needs.

Team & Collaboration

 

Qualifications & Skills

Essential:

•      3–7 years of proven sales experience in freight forwarding/logistics.

Incoterms, tariffs, and international trade regulations

•      Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.

•      Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

•      Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.

Preferred:

• An existing network of clients and industry contacts.

•      Experience handling specialized cargo (pharmaceuticals, perishables, dangerous goods, or project cargo).

CRM tools

freight management systems/ERP platforms

FIATA Diploma, IATA Air Cargo, or Supply Chain Management

•      Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.
