(Bangalore / Chennai / Hyderabad / Pune / Mumbai / Delhi / Coimbatore / etc.) 🎯 Department:Sales & Business Development 💼 Reporting To:Regional Sales Manager / Director – Sales 🧠 Job Summary:We are seeking a dynamic, target-driven Sales Executive with experience in electronic components distribution or B2B industrial sales. The role involves handling customer inquiries, developing new business with OEMs, EMS, R&D institutions, and design houses, while maintaining excellent relationships with existing customers. 🧩 Key Responsibilities:1. Sales & Customer ManagementGenerate leads and convert prospects into active customers in the electronics, embedded, and manufacturing sectors. Handle inquiries for semiconductors, ICs, connectors, passive components, sensors, and power devices. Prepare and follow up on quotations, technical clarifications, and commercial negotiations. Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs, EMS companies, R&D labs, and educational institutions. Maintain a sales pipeline and achieve monthly/quarterly revenue targets. 2. Product Knowledge & Vendor CoordinationStay updated on product lines such as TI, Microchip, ST, Infineon, NXP, Analog Devices, etc. Coordinate with vendors and global suppliers for pricing, lead time, and order tracking. Ensure proper understanding of part numbers, datasheets, and equivalent cross-references. 3. Business DevelopmentIdentify and onboard new customers through market research, exhibitions, and cold calls. Understand customer applications to recommend suitable alternative parts or cost-effective solutions. Promote new lines or obsolete/replacement parts as per inventory and demand. 4. Order ManagementCoordinate with procurement and logistics teams for order processing, dispatch, and after-sales support. Monitor order status, delivery schedules, and resolve shipment/delay issues proactively. Maintain documentation for customer communication and CRM updates. 5. Reporting & MISPrepare weekly/monthly sales reports, forecast pipeline revenue, and share competitor intelligence. Update CRM or ERP systems with lead progress, follow-ups, and closure notes. 📚 Required Skills & Qualifications:Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech (Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field). Experience: 1–5 years in sales of electronic components, semiconductors, or industrial electronics (preferred). Knowledge of: Part number identification, BOM analysis, and datasheets. Market awareness of distributors (Mouser, DigiKey, Element14, Arrow, Avnet, etc.). ERP/CRM software and quotation tools. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer handling abilities. Languages: English, Hindi, and local regional language. 💰 Compensation:Fixed Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹45,000 per month (based on experience). Incentives: Sales target achievement-based bonuses. Allowances: Travel, mobile, and performance-linked perks. 🧭 Performance Indicators (KPIs):Monthly sales revenue & gross margin. New customer acquisition count. Customer retention & repeat order ratio. Response time to inquiries and quotations.
