Job Description

Role Overview:

As a Regional Sales Manager for Karnataka, you will lead regional sales initiatives, expand market reach, and manage distributor and retail networks to drive revenue growth. You will act as a strategic link between the company’s central sales direction and local market execution, ensuring business targets are met through strong relationships, sharp analytics, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy & Performance

  • Create and implement detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans aligned with organizational goals.
  • Drive revenue, volume, and margin targets across multiple B2B channels, including distributors, retailers and institutional clients.
  • Forecast demand accurately to support production, dispatch and inventory planning.

Channel Development & Market Penetration

  • Identify, recruit, and develop new distributors and dealers across Tamil Nadu.
  • Expand channel coverage in under-served regions to maximize reach and efficiency.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, credit policies and partnership agreements in line with company standards.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture long-term partnerships with key retail accounts, buying houses and wholesale clients.
  • Provide tailored solutions for client needs such as product customization, delivery timelines and logistical challenges.
  • Ensure timely collections, enforce credit control measures and resolve service escalations.

Execution & Market Operations

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth inventory movement, dispatch accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Monitor secondary sales and distributor performance to maintain optimal stock health and sell-through rates.
  • Conduct regular market visits to audit merchandising, pricing and brand visibility standards.

Reporting & Market Intelligence

  • Maintain accurate sales data, pipeline forecasts and client interactions using CRM and reporting tools.
  • Present weekly/monthly performance dashboards with actionable insights to the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Track competitor activity and market trends to inform tactical and strategic decisions.

Key Requirements:Technical & Functional Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of fabric types, textile finishing and B2B buyer profiles.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in sales automation tools, CRM platforms and Excel-based forecasting.
  • Fluency in Kannada and English is mandatory.

Qualifications

  • Graduate in Commerce, Business, or Textile Technology
  • MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing is an added advantage.
  • 6-10 years of field sales experience in textiles, yarns, garments or related B2B industries.
  • Proven success in managing distributors and achieving aggressive sales targets.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹55,000.00 per month
