Your responsibilities will include providing technical oversight, project delivery, team leadership, client engagement, and ensuring compliance and quality assurance. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Technical Oversight & Project Delivery:** - Provide technical direction, review, and approvals for complex HAZOP, QRA, and functional safety studies. - Oversee project execution to ensure technical quality, timely delivery, and compliance with international safety standards. - Engage in client consultations, present findings, and propose risk mitigation strategies. - Continuously improve study methodologies, tools, and templates. - Support Process Safety Management activities such as gap assessments, audits, trainings, and competency building workshops. - **Team Leadership & Development:** - Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of process safety engineers and consultants. - Conduct skills gap analysis and implement training programs for skill development. - Cultivate a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and safety within the team. - **Client Engagement & Relationship Management:** - Serve as the primary point of contact for major clients and strategic partners. - Establish long-term relationships with industry stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and technical experts. - Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and foster repeat business. - **Compliance & Quality Assurance:** - Ensure adherence to internal quality management systems and external regulatory requirements. - Implement robust risk management practices in project execution. - Stay informed about global best practices, changing regulations, and industry trends. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering. - Additional certifications in process safety, risk assessment, or functional safety preferred (e.g., HAZOP Leader, CFSE by Exida or TUV, CCPSC by CCPS). - Minimum 20 years of experience in both Industries and Consulting, with at least 10 years in process safety consulting and 5 years in a leadership role. - Proficiency in software tools like DNV PHAST, SAFETI, PHA Works, PHA Pro, HAZOP Leader, BowtieXP, and RAM is essential.
