Job Title:

Purchase Executive

Location: Dadar, Mumbai

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive

Purchase Executive

to manage the procurement of goods and services for our offshore operations. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining cost efficiency while complying with company policies and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Source and evaluate reliable suppliers/vendors for materials, equipment, and services.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely supply of required items.
Maintain updated records of suppliers, purchase orders, and contracts.
Monitor inventory levels in coordination with the warehouse/operations team.
Ensure compliance with company policies, offshore regulations, and quality standards.
Liaise with finance for timely payments and resolve invoice discrepancies.
Prepare periodic reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and cost savings.
Support audits and assist in continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Should have experience in preparation of Eway Bill
Good knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management.
Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, or procurement software.
Analytical thinking with attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.

Qualifications & Experience

Any Graduate(B.com prefereble)
2–5 years of experience in procurement/purchasing (experience in offshore or international operations preferred).
Knowledge of import/export documentation and logistics will be an added advantage.
