Job Description

Senior PMO Analyst – Reporting & Power BI

We are seeking a Senior PMO Analyst to support the Project Management Office (PMO) by delivering high-quality reporting, analytics, and governance. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, reporting , and good understanding of PMO processes, ensuring accurate insights for decision-making and compliance with organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • PMO Governance & Support: Ensure adherence to PMO standards, methodologies, and frameworks. Support project managers with compliance checks, documentation, and reporting.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI. Consolidate project data from multiple sources for portfolio-level reporting. Provide actionable insights to leadership through trend analysis and KPIs.
  • Data Management: Validate and maintain data accuracy across project tracking tools. Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present reports and dashboards to senior leadership and stakeholders. Collaborate with finance, resource management, and delivery teams for integrated reporting.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify gaps in reporting and propose enhancements. Train PMO team members on reporting tools and best practices.

Required Skills

  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Power BI. Strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas). Familiarity with project management tools (MS Project, Clarity, Jira, or similar). ServiceNow and Sharepoint reporting . Understanding of data governance and integration concepts.
  • PMO & Analytical Skills: Deep knowledge of PMO processes and governance. Ability to interpret complex data and present it in a clear, actionable format.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and lead reporting initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field (PMP or PMI certification desirable).
  • 6–8 years of experience in PMO or project reporting roles.
  • Proven experience in Power BI dashboard development and data analytics.
