About the Position:

Pre-sales Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee

  targeted outreach campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and conference networking to generate high-quality leads for Strand’s informatics services.

• Strategically identify, evaluate, and profile

  potential clients across diagnostics, pharma, biotech, and life science technology sectors.

• Oversee strategic account research

  , mapping key decision-makers, active programs, and partnership opportunities across diagnostics, pharma, biotech, and life science technology sectors.

• Supervise and ensure accuracy

  in maintaining and updating prospect databases (Google Docs/CRM) with detailed lead information, intelligence, and engagement history.

• Monitor and analyze

  engagement metrics, follow-ups, and conversion rates to ensure a robust and progressing pipeline, providing direction for improvement.

• Lead pre- and post-event outreach

  for major conferences (e.g., ASHG, AMP, ACMG, AACR) by identifying key attendees, guiding meeting coordination, and overseeing follow-up activities.

• Collaborate with marketing and BD teams

  to refine outreach materials including intro decks, capability summaries, email templates, and case studies, ensuring consistency and quality.

• Prepare and review weekly and monthly performance reports

  summarizing outreach activity, pipeline status, challenges, and strategic recommendations.

• Act as a key liaison

  with BD, technical, and delivery teams to stay aligned with evolving offerings and client requirements.

• Continuously refine lead qualification frameworks,

  outreach processes, and engagement strategies based on market trends, competitive landscapes, and client feedback.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

  Genetics, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology.

• 4+ years of experience, with strong exposure to business development, market research, or client management

  (Life Sciences or Biotechnology domain preferred).

• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams, with strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Zoho/CRM, or equivalent tools.
• High attention to detail, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
