Job Description: Performance Manager - Meta & Google AdsPosition Overview
We are seeking a data-driven Performance Manager to lead and optimize our paid advertising efforts across Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and Google Ads platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multi-million dollar advertising budgets, driving measurable ROI, and scaling our digital marketing performance. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in paid media, strong analytical capabilities, and a proven track record of delivering exceptional campaign results.
Key ResponsibilitiesCampaign Management & Optimization
- Develop, execute, and optimize large-scale advertising campaigns across Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads platforms
- Manage daily campaign performance including budget pacing, bid optimization, and creative testing
- Implement advanced targeting strategies including custom audiences, lookalike audiences, and remarketing campaigns
- Conduct A/B testing on ad creatives, landing pages, audiences, and bidding strategies to maximize performance
- Optimize campaigns for various objectives including conversions, lead generation, app installs, and brand awareness
Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics including CTR, CPC, CPM, CPA, ROAS, and LTV
- Create comprehensive performance reports and dashboards using Google Analytics, Meta Analytics, and third-party tools
- Conduct cohort analysis and attribution modeling to understand true campaign impact
- Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports to stakeholders with actionable insights
- Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement through deep-dive analysis
Strategic Planning & Budget Management
- Develop and execute paid media strategies aligned with business objectives and growth targets
- Manage and allocate advertising budgets across campaigns, platforms, and markets to maximize ROI
- Forecast performance and budget requirements based on historical data and market trends
- Create scaling strategies for successful campaigns while maintaining efficiency metrics
- Collaborate with finance teams on budget planning and reconciliation
Platform & Technical Management
- Stay current with platform updates, new features, and beta opportunities for Meta and Google Ads
- Manage tracking implementation including Facebook Pixel, Google Tag Manager, and conversion APIs
- Ensure proper UTM tagging and campaign naming conventions for accurate attribution
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to tracking, attribution, and platform connectivity
- Implement and maintain feed management for shopping campaigns and dynamic ads
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with creative teams to develop high-performing ad creatives and landing pages
- Collaborate with product marketing to align messaging and positioning
- Work with data teams to integrate first-party data for advanced targeting
- Coordinate with content teams on organic social strategies to amplify paid efforts
- Support business development with performance projections for new initiatives
Required QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or related field
- Advanced certifications in Google Ads and Meta Blueprint preferred
Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns
- Proven track record of managing monthly ad budgets
- Experience across multiple campaign types (Search, Shopping, Display, Video, App, Conversion campaigns)
- Demonstrated success in e-commerce, lead generation, or app marketing campaigns
- Experience with international campaign management is a plus
