Job Title: Operations Manager

Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years
Location: VH Road, Coimbatore.
Reports To: General Manager / Managing Director

Job Summary:

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the business to ensure efficiency, quality, productivity, and profitability. This role involves managing staff, optimizing operational processes, implementing strategic initiatives, and maintaining high standards of service and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management:
  • Oversee day-to-day business operations across all departments.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Supervise, train, and motivate department heads and team members.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching for staff development.
  • Ensure adequate staffing and effective shift scheduling.
  • Customer Service & Quality Control:
  • Maintain high service standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Handle and resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
  • Regularly review feedback to identify improvement areas.
  • Financial & Resource Management:
  • Manage budgets, control operational costs, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Assist in forecasting, planning, and financial reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process efficiency.
  • Compliance & Safety:
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and health & safety standards.
  • Oversee audits and inspections to maintain operational integrity.
  • Strategic Planning:
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute operational strategies.
  • Contribute to business development and process innovation.
  • Support the rollout of new projects, services, and technologies.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in [hospitality / service / relevant industry].
  • Proven track record in managing teams and improving operational performance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and operations management software (e.g., ERP, CRM).
  • Ability to work under pressure and make data-driven decisions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
