The CAD Engineer - is responsible for updating and creating mechanical design models and drawings and performing mechanical design engineering activities. This position is part of the Food & Beverage Business Unit and will be located at Pune/Mumbai/Bangalore. Position will be onsite. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Use understanding of market trends and competitive solutions to identify target applications, positioning and new business opportunities for profitable growth in the food segment, acting as a key contributor to marketing and strategic plans. Identify complimentary attractive segments in the Novel food and food ingredients segments. Map regional Customer ecosystem and identify customer sites and key stakeholders with a focus on partnering for innovative, value-adding and scalable solutions for emerging food production facilities. Support key account managers and local sales to penetrate accounts and discover new opportunities Gain customer insight through research and voice of customer to provide input on new product specifications and application requirements and help identify beta test sites to ensure development of the right products. Work with product managers, Strategic Account Managers and local sales to build market specific positioning, promotion, sales tools and training to execute successful product launches and achievement of revenue targets. Acts as a liaison across regions and functions to ensure sharing of information and successes for strategic and key accounts. Work with Central Marketing to develop regional plans and new content. Present at key customers and market specific conference and summits to build visibility and drive lead generation within the food and alternative protein segments. The essential requirements of the job include: B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical/Food science/Bioprocessing/Chemical or Equivalent) with MBA as preferred. Experience in developing and implementing a marketing strategy with 11-13 yrs of relevant experience in Marketing/Sales, preferably in food/bioprocessing technology or food & ingredients manufacturing company Excellent communication (English) and presentation skills. Experience and exposure with Protein or related markets, in particular. Willing to travel (upto 50%). Holds a valid driver’s license and passport. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Experience with fermentation, bioprocessing and/or filtration systems preferred. Operation Manager reports to the Director Operations and is part of the Manufacturing Operations located in Pune and will be an on-site role. The essential requirements of the job include Lead end-to-end execution of a new manufacturing site, from infrastructure planning to operational readiness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely setup of production lines, utilities, and support systems. Team Management: Hiring, Onboarding, Talent Management, Employee Engagement I collaboration with HR Champion Lean Management tools and methodologies (Kaizen, PSP, VPM, Daily Management, etc.) to build a lean, agile, and high-performance manufacturing culture. Drive standard work, visual management, and problem-solving practices across all levels. Implement robust quality systems and ensure compliance with global standards and regulatory requirements. Manage daily operations, production planning, and resource allocation to meet customer demand and quality expectations. Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Qualifications & Skills: B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical /Production Engineering or related field) with 12-14 yrs of relevant experience, with 7-8 yrs of managing medium size teams in Manufacturing. M.Tech/M.S/MBA will be preferred 10 years of experience in Manufacturing and Operations, preferably in filtration or precision engineering domains. Proven success in leading greenfield or brownfield manufacturing setups. Experience in line transfer projects will be preferred. Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience in regulatory compliance, process validation and commercial production launch. The position is part of the Manufacturing Operations team and will be based on-site in Pune, reporting to the Operations Manager Key Responsibilities Own the daily, weekly and monthly production output of the assigned value stream. Monitor and analyze production metrics (OEE, yield, cycle time, downtime) to ensure targets are met or exceeded. Lead associates on production lines – performance reviews, skill development and fostering a culture of accountability, safety & continuous improvement. Manage operational budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or safety. Apply Lean principles (5S, Kaizen, Standard Work, Visual Management, etc.) to eliminate waste and improve flow. Drive problem-solving culture using tools like PDCA, A3, and root cause analysis. Identify and lead improvement projects to enhance productivity, quality and safety (zero incident culture). Work with digital teams to implement smart manufacturing tools (MES, IoT, ML, AI, dashboards etc). Participate in S&OP meetings and contribute to capacity planning and resource allocation. Act as the voice of the value stream in cross-functional forums. Qualifications & Experience: B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical/Production/Industrial or related). 7-9 years of experience in Manufacturing Operations, preferably in a VSL or production line leadership role. Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing concept and tools. Experience with digital transformation initiatives, including AI adoption in manufacturing. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Experience in line transfer projects, will be preferred. Willingness to work in shifts Preferred Skills: Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing. Exposure to Industry Smart Manufacturing. Experience in managing multi-line operations or transitioning to new product lines. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: This position requires international travel to other plant locations for strategic meetings, DBS learning sessions, and operational alignment.
