Hello December is India’s first styling-led homeware and interiors ecosystem — where design, craftsmanship, and emotion meet function. From styling homes to curating products and managing turnkey projects, we are building India’s most loved design and living brand.


As we grow into a ₹100 crore styling-led retail and B2B business, we’re looking for an Operations Lead


Role Overview


The Operations Lead will oversee day-to-day operational excellence across Hello December’s key verticals — Styling, Sourcing, Production, Logistics, and Vendor Management.


You’ll work closely with the Business Head and Founders to streamline processes, drive timelines, and build systems that can scale from ₹1 crore/month to ₹10 crore/month.


Key Responsibilities


1. Process & Project Management


• Lead operational planning, execution, and daily reviews across all verticals.

• Translate brand goals and sales targets into project timelines, production plans, and logistics flows.

• Track site and project progress; anticipate bottlenecks and resolve proactively.

• Implement weekly project dashboards, trackers, and review systems.


2. Vendor & Supply Chain Management


• Build and maintain a vetted network of manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers across furniture, lighting, furnishings, and décor categories.

• Negotiate terms, manage production schedules, and ensure quality benchmarks are met.

• Create SOPs for vendor onboarding, quality checks, and payment approvals.


3. Logistics & Fulfilment


• Oversee dispatch, delivery, and installation across B2B and D2C channels.

• Work closely with the logistics partner and QC teams to ensure timely, safe, and damage-free deliveries.

• Track vendor and logistics costs, ensuring budget adherence.


4. Team Leadership


• Manage a multi-functional team (procurement, production, logistics, QC).

• Establish accountability frameworks, weekly huddles, and performance reviews.

• Build a results-driven, high-trust, and process-oriented culture.


5. Operational Systems & Efficiency


• Create and manage digital systems (Google Sheets, Monday, Notion, ERP) for seamless tracking.

• Identify inefficiencies and redesign workflows for faster turnaround and cost optimization.

• Ensure SOPs are documented, updated, and followed rigorously.


Desired Skills & Experience

• 5–6 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or project management.

• Experience in design, interiors, furniture, or retail preferred.

• Strong understanding of procurement, vendor management, and logistics.

• Hands-on with operational tools (Google Sheets, ERP, dashboards).

• Excellent negotiation, multitasking, and leadership abilities.

• Obsessed with detail, timelines, and “getting things done” energy.
