Medline Industries India Private Limited was setup in 2010 in Pune, India and today we are proud team of 700 plus associates supporting Medline’s healthcare vision across USA, Europe & other International regions.This role is responsible for the overall Operations Management which includes the Data Management for Air and Ocean Commodity, Freight Analytics, Analytics support, Accrual Calculations, Adhoc Support, Regional reports, Analytics for Carrier Partner’s QBR, and ensuring the establishment and maintenance of precise and reliable data.
Responsibilities:
-  Contribute to the development and upkeep of Freight Charges for both Inbound and Outbound operations.
-  Contribute to Ocean freight invoicing validation process.
-  Calculate Accruals and work towards enhancing accuracy in accrual calculations.
-  Processing of Invoice files for further processes (Invoice audits, Freight files, Accruals)
-  Processing of Invoices by applying the coding in Financial System
-  Develop and disseminate Key Performance Indicator (KPI) governance for Inbound and Outbound carrier partners based on contractual terms, providing insights to senior management on performance
-  Utilize analytical skills to identify errors in received information before proceeding with further processing.
-  Support activities related to master data development and maintenance for both inbound and outbound operations
-  Analyze and plan for the reduction of charges/penalties such as Demurrage and detention through forecasting and increased visibility and alignment of stakeholders.
-  Critically review key process steps for potential improvements & automation aiming at the integrity of data systems & tools.
-  Support regional Logistics Reporting & Analysis, monitoring metrics to meet targets in cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness
 
Essential Skills
Skills / Experience / Qualifications
-  Ocean & Inland Freight Handling for Europe region
-  Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
-  Minimum of 3 years of experience in Global logistics, supply chain and planning.
-  Proficient with Advanced MS Excel, VBA Macro, Carrier systems, etc
-  Self-motivated with a proven ability to prioritize and organize a demanding workload.
-  Capable of working effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating adaptability to diverse cultural and national backgrounds.
-  Supply chain Operations concept knowledge and ERP knowledge
-  Confident in dealing with individuals at all levels internally.
-  Expertise in data visualization tools such as PowerBI
 
Qualification
-  Bachelor degree
-  (APICS) Basics Certification is more than welcome (Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution)
-  Continually research new technology and tools to improve business analytics
-  Knowledge of web scrapping and Python queries.
-  Team player with pro-active communication with negotiation skills, verbal and written
-  Proactive in detecting and resolving problems and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Timely escalation of issues whenever necessary.
-  Team player with ability to work and cooperate with remote people and to work in a fast-paced environment.
-  High level of organization and process discipline with attention to detail and high level of accuracy
-  Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
-  Quick response to deadlines
-  Reporting and Analytics – Should have good experience on data analysis, report preparation and presentation
-  Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
-  Providing technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing
