Role Overview
The Operations Manager at Classy Cut will be responsible for managing the entire jewellery production cycle — from the moment a customer shares their design, to the delivery of the finished product. This role requires someone with deep knowledge of diamonds and jewellery-making

They will also oversee quality control, delivery timelines, and maintain transparent records at every step.

o Receive design requests and CADs from customers and ensure accurate recording of all details (diamond specifications, gold type, size, budget, timelines).
o Maintain an updated database of customer requirements and approved designs.
2. Production Flow Oversight
o Maintain accurate production sheets for karigars (artisans) with all required design, diamond, and material details.
o Ensure smooth coordination with karigars from design approval to final product completion.
3. Diamond & Material Handling
o Manage the flow of diamonds and gold to karigars, ensuring trust, accountability, and security.
o Track material usage and maintain transparent records of inventory movement.
4. Problem Solving & Query Management
o Act as the primary point of contact for karigars, addressing their queries (technical, diamond placement, finishing details, etc.) promptly.
o Proactively resolve any bottlenecks in production to ensure timelines are met.
5. Quality Control & Delivery
o Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and adherence to customer requirements.
o Coordinate with logistics/delivery teams to ensure timely and secure customer delivery.
6. Documentation & Reporting
o Maintain proper documentation of production, diamonds issued, karigar queries, and timelines.
7. Accounts &
Coordination
o Work closely with the accounts team to ensure accurate record-keeping of payments, advances, and settlements with karigars and vendors; maintain proper documentation of labour charges, diamond issuance, and production costs.
8. Automation and CRM
o Manage CRM and automation tools to optimize customer engagement and operational efficiency.
