Work DynamicsWhat this job involves?As Senior Occupancy Planner and Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing strategicoccupancy planning expertise, leveraging a deep understanding of our client’s space supply anddemand to develop scenario and occupancy plans for our client's portfolio.Provides guidance, support the partnership and best operational practices across their respectiveregion.Collaborate and engage with the key stakeholders to drive deliverables to closuresFostering relationshipsYou'll foster critical relationships between various individuals and organisations, including:
  • Corporate Real Estate to review and resolve planning forecast requirements, concerns, and
issues,
  • Business Unit leadership to collect headcount forecasts and resolve headcount forecast
discrepancies between their numbers and those collected at the group level,
  • Corporate Finance group to gather top-down headcount and growth projections,
  • Project management to review planning strategies that drive construction projects and
support the implementation of these projects.
  • Work closely with the vendor partners and drive efficiency within the Regional Reporting
processes, tools and systems.
Driving optimal occupancy planning solutionsYour primary focus areas for this role will be managing the development of occupancy plans,sequencing group-level and individual moves, and resolving planning issues identified during clientplanning sessions. You will ensure the alignment of planning with corporate guidelines and that allscenarios maximise the use of space. You will recommend, educate, and enforce spacepolicies/standards, procedures, and protocols, notify the client of customer-requested exceptions,and, as necessary, assist in developing site-specific Planning Strategies with Senior Leadership. Youwill be a Subject Matter Expert in the client's workplace program and use data to drive solutions thatincrease productivity. You will be a leader in the Occupancy Planning and account team, modellingsuperior client relationship management and strategic thinking.ReportingOne of your major requirements will be to get familiar with space utilisation methods and thepresentation of utilisation data. Interacting with organisational leadership, you will identify spacerequirements and prepare and update project status reports on actual versus projected seat demandat the building level. In addition, you will report on current supply and capacity, forecast inventorychanges as required, and work with the client to reconcile any discrepancies from top-downprojections.Sounds like you? We will expect you to work independently, multi-task, and manage your time to meetdeadlines, as you'll often need to reorganise your daily schedule to deal with your team's changingnecessities and requests. We will also look to you to be proactive and innovative in developingsolutions with your stakeholders and driving their implementation.Tech-savvyYou will be successful in the role if you are comfortable using software to support planning solutionsand communicate ideas clearly with the planning team and client. This includes having advancedskills in Microsoft Excel (pivot table, vlook-up, cell calculations). In addition, proficiency in MicrosoftOffice and GSuite and the ability to consolidate data and floor plans into PowerPoint Presentationsand experience with CAFM / IWMS software will be highly valuable.A communication championExcellent communication skills are important – both written and spoken. An individual with stronginterpersonal skills, able to understand complex ideas and communicate them to others, and anability to interact with executive-level external and internal clients will be successful in the role.   • Ability to collaborate and lead quality discussions with key stakeholders.
  • Expert level data analytical skills and ability to articulate stories through data
  • Attention detail and accuracy - particularly numbers and spatial creativity
  • Highly organised and demonstrates a high level of performance in project budgeting and
scheduling
  • A working knowledge of occupancy utilisation, office design principles and trends such as
the mobile or collaborative workplace is preferred
  • Identify needs/troubleshoot deficiencies to address concerns and initiate best practices.
  • Support Pay Per Seat model through space management and administration support.
  • Acts decisively, drives results, passion to win, takes ownership, accountable, resilient.
  • Focuses on customers and clients, business/financial acumen.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Architecture, Design, Construction Management,
or related field is preferred
