Job Purpose Lead a sub-department within the Digital & Technology department, marketing technology strategy and implementation, managing the delivery, stakeholder engagement, and program management of a part of the scope of the department martech initiatives, with focus on achieving Key Performance Indicator goals. Oversee the management of product development initiatives, including requirements gathering, user story refinement, sprint planning, and backlog grooming, to facilitate efficient and effective project execution. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, developers, and QA analysts to define project scope, specifications, and acceptance criteria, fostering clear communication and shared understanding of project goals and deliverables. Oversee project risk management activities by identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues. Develop strategies to minimize delays and ensure successful project outcomes. Lead regular updates, progress reports, and team meetings. Ensure comprehensive updates on project milestones, challenges, and dependencies flow through to stakeholders, to keep them informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure team members troubleshoot technical issues, resolve blockers, and optimize workflows, leveraging agile methodologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement in project execution processes. Interface with industry peers, staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product management and project execution, and applying newfound knowledge to enhance project outcomes and team performance. Team Management Build and lead a high-performing team of technology professionals, ensuring alignment of efforts with the overarching objectives to be achieved. Set a direction for the team, provide mentorship, coaching, and development opportunities to team members, empowering them to achieve their full potential and drive organizational success. Champion a culture of accountability, ownership, and teamwork within the team, providing leadership to team members, fostering their growth and development as professionals.
