Lead Business Systems Analyst

The Lead Business Systems Analyst at Merkle plays a crucial role in the marketing technology team, ensuring the functional integrity of solutions delivered to clients in various industries. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will serve as a bridge between clients" marketing and business teams and Merkle's design, development, and testing teams. Your primary responsibilities include gathering solution requirements aligned with clients" business objectives and martech capabilities, conducting feasibility analysis based on business priorities, and ensuring the accuracy and relevance of the solutions provided. You will collaborate with both client stakeholders and Merkle teams to gather solution requirements effectively, translate data and business requirements into functional design, and uphold Merkle's best practices and recommendations to support decision-making processes. In addition, you will conduct data analysis to ensure the alignment of business and functional requirements, oversee solution testing, lead user acceptance testing, and contribute to the development of reusable assets, frameworks, and best practices within Merkle. Mentoring team members and guiding them through various project phases will also be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, along with at least 6 years of technology implementation experience in customer data management and marketing technology. You should have a solid background in documenting requirements for scope management, design, development, and testing purposes, with a minimum of 4 years working with Agile methodologies. Proficiency in customer data integration, identity management concepts, relational design, data analysis, and SQL skills is essential. Strong communication, customer service, and client management skills are also required to excel in this position. This full-time permanent role at Merkle's DGS India location in Mumbai, Thane Ashar IT Park, offers a shift timing of 7 PM to 3 AM IST.
