The impact you will have in this role : Being member of the Development family is responsible for creating, designing, deploying, and supporting applications, programs, and software solutions. May include research, new development, prototyping, modification, reuse, re-engineering, maintenance, or any other activities related to software products used internally or externally on product platforms supported by the firm. The software development process requires in-depth subject matter expertise in existing and emerging development methodologies, tools, and programming languages. Software Developers work closely with business partners and / or external clients in defining requirements and implementing solutions. The Application Support Engineering role specializes in maintaining and providing technical support for all applications that are beyond the development stage and are running in the daily operations of the firm. Works closely with development teams, infrastructure partners, and internal / external clients to escalate and resolve technical support incidents. What You ll Do Experience supporting applications doing L2/L3 support. Experience with using ITIL Change, Incident and Problem management processes. Resolve critical production issues by leading Major Incident calls, engaging accurate teams, and driving root cause analysis. Troubleshoot and debug system component(s) to resolve technical issues in sophisticated and highly supervised environments comprised of ground and cloud applications and services. Analyze proposed application design(s) and provide feedback on potential gaps or provide recommendations for optimization. Contribute to Monthly Service Reviews (MSR) with Development partners to go over KPI metrics. Participate in Disaster Recovery / Loss of Region events (planned and unplanned) performing tasks and collecting evidence. Collaborate both within the team and across teams to resolve application issues and bring up as needed. Partner with development teams to provide recommendations into the design and development stages of applications. Support audit requests in a timely fashion providing needed documentation and evidence. Plan and complete certificate creation/renewals as needed. Build, Modify and Monitor Dashboards to better catch potential issues and aide in observability. Strong ability to capture and analyze project requirements and translate them into technical specification(s). Resolve Critical application alerts in a timely manner including production defects, providing business impact and analysis to teams. Review and update knowledge articles and runbooks with application development teams to confirm information is most updated. Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual effort associated with application monitoring. Implement the pre-production/production application code deployment plans and end to end vendor application upgrade process (e.g., SNOW, SF, etc) Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; calls out appropriately. **NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. ** Sounds Like You? The Impact you will have in this role: The Enterprise Test Engineering ("ETE") family is responsible for ensuring that all applications and systems meet defined quality standards. The ETE family encompasses three major areas including (a) functional testing, (b) non-functional testing, and (c) test architecture and enablement. Other key focuses include: regression testing, browser testing, performance testing, capacity and stress testing, resiliency testing, environment management services, and infrastructure testing. Develops, conducts, and evaluates testing processes, working closely with developers to remediate identified system defects. In-depth knowledge of automated testing tools, and quality control and assurance approaches including the creation of reusable foundational test automation framework for the entire organization. The Test Engineering role is responsible for ensuring that all applications, system products, projects, and solutions meet defined enterprise quality standards. Provide centralized, independent quality assurance services across the firm, including functional and non-functional testing for all products, services, and applications across businesses. Design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions, providing testing expertise, oversight, and direction to ensure the functionality of solutions and that design specifications are met. Your Primary Responsibilities: Maintain, prepare and implement test cases based on user stories; present results and supervise defects to closure. Prepare, maintain, and complete automated test scripts. Maintain traceability from business requirements through test cases to automated scripts. Review test cases / automation approach with customer to ensure comprehensive coverage and acquire feedback. Track test execution breakthroughs, report on issues and risks with the potential to affect project timelines Construct appropriate end-2-end business scenarios through the application of a broad understanding of business objectives and goals. Collaborate with delivery pipeline teams to drive adoption and resolve open issues. Identify dependencies for environmental and data requirements; handle and maintain environment and data. Provide mentorship to colleagues related to test coverage and test cases. Develop a detailed understanding of the product being delivered. Responsible for process compliance & associated documentation. Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; calls out appropriately. Qualifications: Minimum of 8 years of related experience Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience. Minimum of 6+ years of related experience. Must have work experience in ETL Testing Hands on experience in Selenium Java. Extensive experience with testing modern scripting language-based components. Experience in writing SQL queries. Experience with JIRA, Microfocus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins. Experience with front-end & backend testing using Java and Selenium. Experienced in Agile/Waterfall, onsite/offshore work model and coordination. In depth knowledge of the software implementation lifecycle (specifically the testing model, methodology, and processes). Detailed understanding of smoke testing, black- box and both non-blackbox testing, as well as regression testing. Requires the ability to work well with both business clients and technical team independently, both individually and as part of a team. Preferably from Capital Market domain.

The Impact you will have in this role: The Database Administrator will provide database administrative support for all DTCC environments including Development, QA, client test, and our critical high availability production environment and DR Data Centers. Extensive knowledge on all aspects of MSSQL database administration and the ability to support other database platforms including both Aurora PostgreSQL and Oracle. This DBA will have a high level of impact in the creation of new processes and solutions, while operating under established procedures and processes in a mission critical Financial Services infrastructure environment. The Ideal candidate will ensure optimal performance, data security and reliability of our database infrastructure. What Youll Do: Software Installation, configure and maintain SQL server instances (On-prem and cloud based) Implement and manage High availability solutions including Always ON availability groups and clustering. Support development, QA, PSE and Production environments using ServiceNow ticketing system. Review production performance reports for variances from normal operation. Optimize SQL queries and indexes for better efficiency. Analyze query and recommend the tuning strategies. Maintain database performance by calculating optimum values for database parameters; implementing new releases; completing maintenance requirements; evaluating computer operating systems and hardware products. Perform database backup and recovery strategy using tools like SQL server backup, log shipping and other technologies. Provide 3rd level support for DTCC critical production environments. Prepare users by conducting training; providing information; and resolving problems. Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards. Setup and maintain database replication and clustering solutions. Will have shared responsibility for off-hour support. Maintain documentation on database configurations and procedures. Provide leadership and direction for the Architecture, Design, Maintenance and L1, L2 and L3 Level Support of a 7 x 24 global infrastructure. Qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience Strong Oracle knowledge of 19c, 21c and 22c. A minimum 3+ years of proven relevant experience Solid understanding in MSSQL Server and Aurora Postgres database Strong knowledge in Python and Angular. Working knowledge of Oracle s Golden gate Replication technology Hands on experience in python, Ansible and other scripting languages to automate the tasks. Ability to work with a high degree of latitude while adhering to established process and procedures. Good understanding in both how databases fit into systems and how application changes will influence database performance. Primary Skills: Proven experience as a Microsoft SQL server Database Administrator (2016 or later). Should have worked as a L2 and L3 Engineer or above in managing large scale MSSQL, Oracle and PostgreSQL environments. Demonstrate strong performance Tuning and Optimization skills in MSSQL, PostgreSQL and Oracle databases. Good Experience in High Availability and Disaster recovery (HA/DR) options for SQL server. Be able to handle tasks and projects independently with minimum guidance and directions. Good experience in Backup and restore processes. Proficiency in power shell scripting for automation. Possess Good interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate with various stakeholders. Follow best practices on Organizational change / Incident management / Problem management.
