Job Description

The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) plays a crucial role in the marketing technology team at Merkle, ensuring the functional integrity of solutions implemented for clients across various industries. As a BSA, you will act as a bridge between client marketing and business departments and the Merkle design, development, and testing teams. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with clients" marketing and IT stakeholders to gather solution requirements that align with the clients" business objectives and martech capabilities. You will conduct feasibility analysis of requirements based on business priorities and data availability, offering guidance to the Merkle implementation team on behalf of the client to ensure the relevance and accuracy of the solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Own the process of gathering solution requirements in collaboration with Merkle and client stakeholders. - Analyze and rationalize data, business, and process requirements to develop a comprehensive functional design. - Ensure the deployment of Merkle's best practices, frameworks, and recommendations to aid clients in making informed decisions. - Conduct data analysis to validate that business and functional requirements are achievable. - Provide guidance on scope management and client expectations as per the contracts. - Support solution testing through business validation techniques and lead user acceptance testing. - Contribute to the development of reusable assets, frameworks, and best practices at Merkle. - Mentor team members to foster growth and development. Education Qualification: - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required. - 6+ years of experience in technology implementation related to customer data management and marketing technology. - 6+ years of experience in documenting requirements for scope management, design, development, and testing. - 4+ years of experience working with Agile methodologies. - Knowledge of customer data integration and identity management concepts. - Hands-on experience with relational design concepts, data analysis, complex data transformations, user acceptance testing, and SQL skills. - Strong customer service orientation, client management skills, effective communication, presentation, critical thinking, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills. - Ability to adapt to different conditions, thrive in complex environments, and interact confidently with senior-level resources internally and externally.
