Purpose of the role
Manager TA role will ensure that General Mills is positioned to attract, source and recruit the best talent, both internally and externally. The role requires to work across functions and building relationships with assigned business teams. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end talent acquisition lifecycle, leading a team of recruiters, and partnering with business leaders to align hiring efforts with organizational goals. We are looking for the right fit who is passionate about recruitment, a fast learner and a leader, comfortable with challenging the status quo. The ideal candidate will have candidate experience at the core by having customer service approach, a global mindset, attention to detail and will be a self-starter focused on delivering exceptional results.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for over-all recruiting strategy & delivery across Sales and Commercial Capabilities & Consumer Insights function for internal & external hiring.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of recruiters and sourcing specialists.
- Accountable for delivering to hiring positions assigned for this role and also for the TA team members for each of these functions
- Partner with Leader/s and Hiring Managers to manage short-term & long-term requirements.
- Manage recruitment systems and tools (e.g., ATS, CRM) and ensure optimal utilization across the team.
- Design and execute effective sourcing strategies to attract top-tier talent across functions and levels. Responsible for the entire gamut of hiring including Volume Hiring, Niche Hiring, Diversity & Inclusion, Market intelligence & insights etc as per the business needs.
- Oversee proactive sourcing strategies to identify, attract, and engage passive and active candidates across functions.
- Build strong relationship with HRBP, other HR COEs to navigate the agenda for the Talent Acquisition team
- Actively Company Employer Brand through various channels like Job Boards, other Social Media channels.
- Ensure to deliver remarkable candidate experience by managing communications and expectations throughout the recruitment journey.
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines using a variety of sourcing channels including social media (LinkedIn), Job Board searches, Networking, and talent pools.
- Drive process improvements & ideas that drive business impact
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and internal policies throughout the hiring process as per applicability.
- While being a team player also mentor sourcers, others in team and support knowledge sharing within the team.
- Accountable for delivering, tracking, monitoring and analyzing recruitment metrics for the function/s. (e.g., time-to-fill, source of hire, quality of hire etc).
- Effectively Manage the local relationships with different vendor partner/s of TA and manage the ROI
- This role partners with local and global key stakeholders in Talent Acquisition to develop better practices in recruiting and strong collaboration for knowledge sharing between local and/or global teams
- Champion inclusive hiring practices and help drive the organization’s diversity hiring goals.
- Act as the TA process owner and support to deliver to continuous improvement of the process
- Operate as the connect for the team with the other HR pillars to ensure there is consistent application of company’s policies & practices. (for eg: Employee Relations, HRBP etc)
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum Degree Requirements: Bachelors (Full time from accredited institution)
- Preferred Degree Requirements: Masters
- Preferred Major Area of Study: HR
- Experience - 10-14 years with at least 8+ years of progressive experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in both agency and in-house settings.
- Proven ability to hire for a wide range of roles, including niche and senior-level positions
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., iCIMS) and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, Google Searches etc).
- High process orientation and operations rigor- a strong outcome orientation and the ability to drive critical results within specific timelines
- Strong knowledge of recruitment metrics, market trends, and talent intelligence.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience on Sales capability & consumer insights hiring in CPG or FMCG industry
- Managed the team of recruiters, talent sourcers & coordinators
- Recruitment experience in a specific industry or domain (e.g., tech, finance, healthcare, manufacturing) is highly desirable.
- Prior experience on technology hiring / non-technology hiring
- Professional certification in HR or recruitment (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, CIR) is an asset.
- Exposure to diversity hiring practices and global recruitment is a plus.
