Responsible for contacting clients with overdue accounts to secure the settlement of the account. Also they do preventive work to avoid future overdues with accounts that have a high exposure. Position provides a unique opportunity for an individual looking to build his/her knowledge supporting core business at American Express (AXP): Global Commercial Services, International Card Services, US Consumer services and Global Dining. This exciting role will be part of the team managing the Sales Incentive Planning process for American Express. This position requires extensive interaction with Business, HR, Compliance and Risk Management, Performance and Transformation team and Technology. The person needs to have a sound business acumen, analytical skills and interpersonal skills. Person should be highly detail-oriented and adept at problem solving and must possess excellent collaboration skills. The core responsibilities of the individual will include, but not be limited to the following Purpose of the Role: Responsibilities - Risk & Controls Management – Adhere to the company policies, audit and regulatory requirements, Issue and Risk event resolution. Implementation and monitoring of Process controls and Procedures Mitigate the regulatory or audit risk for non-compliance and committed to drive Company’s Goal. Provide leadership to build Risk and Control assets for the Company including Issue and Risk Management procedures enhancements. Guidance on new Incentive Data products to support the Enterprise in Driving Growth, Profitability and Risk Management Manage day to day operations and pipeline of tasks for team and prepare and report critical team metrics like standardization, capacity, timeliness, accuracy etc Assist team in system requirements, design, and development efforts. Facilitate business requirements gathering and application testing initiatives by driving alignment with key business stakeholders Lead team in performing annual updates of incentive compensation and tracking business rules. Drive stakeholder updates like governance calls and regular updates Good analytical and problem-solving mindset, ability to drive process efficiency through automation Leverage best practices internally and bring outside-in perspective to deliver best of breed Incentive reporting and insights Critical Factors to Success – Experience: 8- 10 years of experience in Sales Incentive operations and customer management, preferably in Incentive calculations/tools, good business knowledge around the compensation process and business rules, Commercial, Consumer, B2B experience. Ability to align data needs to business strategies Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant/quantitative field or Postgraduate in management (MBA) Functional Skills/Capabilities: Strong knowledge of Process Control and Risk Management. Experience with managing regulatory, audits, compliance, and procedures Professional certification in Risk Management will be an added advantage. Should understand sales, reporting and incentive compensation Team management and people leadership experience Good analytical and problem-solving mindset, ability to drive process efficiency through automation Basic understanding of Product development, Prior experience of product testing and UAT Experience with Data, Analytics to drive decisions for the Business. Experience working with Sales enablement Platforms: Salesforce, Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) tools, Business Intelligence tools Programming Knowledge will be an added advantage.
