Role Overview

Step into the heart of our state-of-the-art ice cream plant as Production Manager, where you'll orchestrate high-volume operations with the precision of a maestro. In this pivotal leadership role, you'll champion operational mastery, driving seamless production while slashing inefficiencies and elevating standards in a dynamic FMCG landscape. This position is for Dairy Technologists with 8+ years of food industry prowess—ideally 4+ in ice cream—who crave to lead transformative teams, harness data for breakthroughs, and propel our sweet legacy forward. Objectives of This Role

• Spearhead end-to-end production strategies to amplify throughput, fortify quality, and embed safety as the cornerstone of every batch.
• Pioneer cost-optimized processes that curb losses, harness sustainability, and propel efficiency .
• Harness analytics and predictive insights to decode production trends, preempt disruptions, and sustain peak performance against ambitious targets.
• Champion regulatory excellence and environmental stewardship, upholding FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, and global benchmarks in a hygiene-first ecosystem.
• Cultivate a high-performance culture that empowers teams to innovate relentlessly.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Execution Mastery

• Architect and execute monthly/seasonal production blueprints, synchronizing raw material flows, workforce allocation, and equipment rhythms to hit 100% on-time delivery amid surging demands.
• Oversee high-speed lines—from creamy mixing and aeration to precision packaging and blast freezing—leveraging ERP/SAP for real-time orchestration and adaptive scaling.
• Drive demand forecasting and capacity utilization, ensuring seamless handoffs with Supply Chain for uninterrupted ingredient sourcing in our dairy-centric operations.

Quality Assurance & Compliance Leadership

• Enforce rigorous quality gates aligned with FSSAI and HACCP standards, conducting process validations
• Lead root cause investigations (RCA) and Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) for deviations, safeguarding organoleptic integrity .
• Integrate traceability tools for batch-level accountability and elevating consumer trust in every indulgent creation.

Team Leadership & Talent Development

• Inspire and mentor a diverse cadre production ,executives, supervisors, and technicians, fostering a safety-first ethos through TPM and behavioral coaching.
• Cultivate succession pipelines via targeted training in SOPs, cross-skilling for multi-line flexibility, and performance dialogues that unlock individual potential.
• Champion inclusive leadership, promoting psychological safety and diversity to mirror the collaborative spirit.

Continuous Improvement & Efficiency Optimization

• Elevate OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) to world-class levels, and line balancing, targeting cycle time slashes and throughput surges.
• Quantify and conquer losses , energy , and packaging and waste audits, aligning with zero-waste ambitions.
