Vaidyaratnam Healthcare seeking an energetic & dynamic HR Manager

Qualification

Ø MBA / MSW / PG in Human Resources Management (or equivalent).

Ø Additional certification in Hospital Administration, Labour Laws, or NABH standards is an added advantage.

Experience

Ø 10 years of progressive experience in HR operations, preferably in healthcare / hospital / Ayurveda sector.

Ø Strong exposure to recruitment, HR policies, statutory compliance, payroll, and employee relations.

Ø Hands-on experience in NABH HR documentation, audits, PMS, and training & development.

Skills & Competencies

Ø Strong knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliance, and HR policies.

Ø Expertise in manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, and workforce management.

Ø Skilled in PMS, KPI setting, appraisals, and performance improvement plans.

Ø Proficient in NABH requirements: credentialing, privileging, job descriptions, organograms, training documentation, and competency matrices.

Ø Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.

Ø Strong leadership, decision-making, and people management ability.

Ø Proficient in HRMS/ERP systems, MS Office, and HR analytics.

Ø High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.

Purpose:

The HR Manager will oversee the full spectrum of Human Resources functions in the hospital, ensuring smooth workforce operations, regulatory compliance, and a positive employee experience. The role demands strong expertise in healthcare HR practices, statutory requirements, staffing, grievance handling and talent development within a clinical and non-clinical setup.

Key Responsibilities -Healthcare

1. Manage full-cycle recruitment for clinical, paramedical, and non-clinical positions.

2. Coordinate manpower planning, yearly budgeting, and workforce forecasting.

3. Oversee onboarding, hospital orientation, and documentation verification.

4. Maintain timely credentialing renewals for doctors, Nurses & Therapists.

5. Prepare duty rosters, shift allocation, and ensure adequate staffing at all times.

6. Implement and monitor employee engagement, wellness and recognition programs.

7. Address employee grievances and ensure timely conflict resolution. Conduct disciplinary proceedings, issue notices, and maintain documentation.

8. Conduct exit interviews, analyze trends, and drive employee retention strategies.

9. Lead performance management cycles—Goal setting (KRA,KPI), Quarterly reviews & annual appraisals.

10. Facilitate competency mapping for all hospital roles.

11. Identify skill gaps and implement internal/external training programs.

12. Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and performance improvement tracking.

13. Ensure compliance with labour laws (PF, ESI, maternity benefits, minimum wages).

14. Lead HR compliance for NABH audits; maintain audit-ready documentation.

15. Oversee HR operations including attendance management, leave processing & payroll inputs.

16. Maintain accurate employee personal files, digital databases & HRMS records.

17. Draft, revise, and implement HR policies, SOPs, and hospital-specific protocols.

18. Monitor workplace discipline, attendance patterns, and behavioural issues

19. Ensure compliance of contract and outsourced staff, including vendor documentation.

20. Drive organizational culture-building initiatives aligned with hospital vision, mission & values.

21. Coordinate with department heads for manpower issues, staffing gaps & performance matters.

22. Ensure workplace safety, infection control support, and hygiene guidelines adherence.

23. Plan salary reviews, compensation benchmarking, and HR budgeting.

24. Prepare HR dashboards, analytics, attrition reports, and monthly MIS for management.

25. Support management in strategic HR planning, change management, and organizational development initiatives. Ensure high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and HR ethics

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹840,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
