Summary
About the role
Experienced Financial Planning and Analysis professional, overseeing financial analysis, research, budgets, and forecasts. Responsible for preparing forecasts and performing financial modeling to develop and provide reports for functional or operational management.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive productivity in a $9 billion global spend across direct material
- Develop, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to direct material procurement, such as cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory management
- Supporting Tier 1 commodity blocking and quarterly investor relations update
- Direct Material productivity projects review and approval to move from WAVE to PSR
- Weekly Power BI productivity dashboard by taking WAVE and PSR source data including intercompany elimination update.
- Prepare and present material productivity update to Operations Leadership Team
- Support the Director Supply Chain Finance leader, with ad hoc analytics and requests
- Work closely with Supply Chain COE team on various projects and reporting
- Drive standardization and process improvement across all aspects of planning and reporting, including sharing best practices
- Conduct financial analysis of actual results and forecast/planning scenarios related to operations productivity
- Collaborate with various departments and sites to prepare, analyze, and review productivity, spending and functional costs, ensuring HFM data accuracy and integrity.
- Assist in preparing materials for working capital reviews, focusing on accounts payable, and inventory.
- Contribute to the preparation and review of the annual business plan and long-range plans.
- Ensure accurate and timely hedging and cash flow planning for the treasury function, including data gathering from various sources.
- Be prepared to collaborate with other regions to support Operations global business, both for routine tasks and project-based needs.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Cost Accounting or Finance with a BA/BS degree
- A strong analytical skillset with demonstrated ability to extract & interpret data
- The ability to summarize key messages from the analysis of raw data in written, graphical and verbal format depending on the needs of the audience
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and drive change while working across all levels, function, segments and business units.
- Attention to accuracy and execution is a must
- Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment
- Excellent time management and project management skills
- Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented and results-focused
- Previous experience with cost accounting, factory, operations productivity analysis preferred
- Experience in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), SAP BI, Datawarehouse
- Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated strong analytical, process mindset, problem solving, and data acumen
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear/concise manner.
