Job Description: Job Summary: The Manager - Technology Vendor Governance will be responsible for overseeing and managing the performance of technology vendors based on a well-defined governance model. The candidate will evaluate vendor performance across key parameters, including SLA adherence, financial efficiency, service delivery, service penalties, and project execution within cloud and technology infrastructure. The role involves conducting vendor scoring, sharing feedback, and driving improvements in vendor engagements. The ideal candidate must have strong data analytics, reporting, dashboarding, and presentation skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Key Responsibilities: Vendor Performance Review: Assess vendor performance based on SLA compliance, financial metrics, project delivery timelines, and service penalties related to cloud and technology infrastructure spending. Vendor Scoring & Feedback: Develop a vendor scoring mechanism using key performance indicators and share feedback for continuous improvement. Governance & Compliance: Ensure vendors adhere to agreed-upon contractual obligations, regulatory compliance, and governance frameworks. Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal stakeholders, vendor representatives, and leadership teams to drive vendor accountability and resolve escalations. Data Analytics & Reporting: Leverage data analytics to generate insightful reports, dashboards, and presentations on vendor performance, trends, and risk assessment. Financial Oversight: Monitor vendor spend, track cost efficiency, and identify opportunities for cost optimization. Review Meetings: Lead and participate in monthly reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with vendor leadership teams and internal business units. Risk Management: Identify vendor-related risks and propose mitigation strategies to ensure service continuity. Process Improvement: Continuously enhance governance models, reporting frameworks, and vendor evaluation methodologies. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 8+ years of experience in vendor management, technology governance, procurement, or IT service management. Strong expertise in vendor performance evaluation, SLA management, and governance frameworks. Proficiency in data analytics tools, reporting platforms, and dashboard creation (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior leadership. Experience in managing vendor contracts, financial oversight, and cost optimization strategies. Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and manage stakeholder expectations effectively. Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills. Preferred Certifications (Optional): ITIL, PMP, or any relevant vendor management certification. Work Environment & Additional Information: Hybrid work model (as applicable). May require occasional travel for vendor meetings and QBRs.
