Role & responsibilities

: Ensure QMS system is developed in company in line with requirement / ISO /IATF 16949 & ISO 14001 & 45001 requirement.

: Calculate Cost of poor Quality & Initiate action plan to reduce same as per target. : Overall responsibility of casting Quality (HPDC / Machine shop / GDC) :

Drive Quality improvement tool on shop e.g.Kaizen,Quality circle,6 Sigma methodology etc.

: Ensure top rating achieved in Customer rating system by analysis & robust action plan

: Responsible for customer complaint & action to resolve.

: - Review peridocially improvement point / NC points highlighted in Product / Process / System / Customer audit. & Timely closure of improvement actions.

: Impart training to the sub ordinates for casting defect,7QC tools,5 Core tools & NC & rework product handling system etc.

: Detail analysis on customer complaints and customer returned
items (Relevant)

: Intime submission of G8D report and action taken on customer compliant related with suppliers in time.

: Analyze & monitor trends in quality related data (In-house & Customer end).

: Development of Suppliers Quality System & Improvement

: To do supplier quality performance rating

: Ensure process audit is conducted and action plan initiated.

: Responsible for implementation & maintenance of QMS- IATF / ISO 45001 etc

: Analyse the performance of processes against objectives and
process measures : Communicate internally the performance of department w.r.t objectives and process measures

: Identifying training need for the personnel reporting to him .

To give inputs related to his department in MRM Continual improvement in related areas Supplier Assesments, Facility Audits, Supplier Quality System Audits,
Technical Reviews APQP in Inhouse Conducting PPAP and Approvals. To identify, record & notify problems through PST. To reject / scrap / rework non-conformance products

Preferred candidate profile

Background ; Min 9 - 12 years experience from die casting industries.

Qualification : BE mechanical / DME / DAE.

Knowledge : Knowledge of Die casting process / defects. Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949:2016 & ISO 14001 :2004 Requirements related to Quality Assurance Dept.
