Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Investor Relations Associate at Bolstart. The Associate will be responsible for scouting potential startups/companies/acquirers, conducting due diligence, and facilitating investments. They will work closely with startups, investors, and VCs to support the investment process and ensure successful partnerships. The Associate will also be responsible for scouting potential angel investors to invest in these businesses. The candidate will build and maintain relationships with founders, entrepreneurs, angel investors and other stakeholders in the startup ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, business, or a related field, as well as experience in venture capital or private equity.

Qualifications:

• Startup/Business scouting, due diligence, and investment facilitation skills
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities
• Knowledge of startup ecosystem and investment trends
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
• Experience in Merger & Acquisition, Venture Capital, Private Equity or Angel Investing is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research & analysis to identify potential investment opportunities in target sectors.
• Evaluate potential investments and conduct due diligence, including financial analysis, market analysis, and competitive landscape assessment.
• Connect with in-house angel investors over audio/video calls to explain about startups to invest in.
• Support the investment team in negotiating and executing investment transactions. Assist portfolio companies with financial analysis, strategic planning, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and track portfolio company performance and prepare regular reports for senior management and investors.
• Collaborate with the investment team to develop and execute investment strategies and identify new opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with industry contacts, including entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and advisors.
• Participate in industry events to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
• Scout for potential angel investors using various social medias and communities.
