Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Content Writer (Finance) at Bolstart in Pune. The Content Writer will be responsible for content strategy development, research, proofreading, and creating engaging financial content for our investors and startups. This includes gathering & analyzing information, formulating hypotheses, and communicating recommendations. You will also have the opportunity to present results to leadership. You will own a few buy-side mandates in IT Services/Technology/FinTech/Consumer Goods sector and be responsible for building a transaction funnel for the client. Analyze client's requirements, source companies and communicate to the further stages. Identify and qualify potential targets through outbound efforts such as cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach (in India, US) Identify decision-makers, reach out to them, and schedule meetings to onboard them. Be proactive at figuring out creative ways to reach out and smartly navigate your way to get in touch with decision-makers. Own content templates and strategy for reach outs Build relationships with the targets and nurture them over time Follow best practices and automation and ensure client delivery Push deals to the transaction space and close deals Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions in the CRM system. As a Venture Analyst at Bolstart, you will play a crucial role in scouting potential startups, conducting due diligence, and facilitating investments. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with startups, acquirers, investors, and VCs to support the investment process and ensure successful partnerships. To excel in this role, you should possess a strong background in finance, business, or a related field, along with experience in venture capital or private equity. You will be expected to conduct market research, analyze potential investment opportunities, and evaluate them through financial analysis, market assessment, and competitive landscape evaluation. Additionally, you will support the investment team in negotiating and executing investment transactions, as well as assisting portfolio companies with financial analysis, strategic planning, and operational improvements. To thrive in this position, you must have excellent networking and relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem and investment trends, and the ability to communicate and present information effectively. Working collaboratively with the investment team, you will contribute to developing and executing investment strategies, identifying new opportunities, and maintaining relationships with industry contacts. The ideal candidate for this role will hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, with a Master's degree being preferred. You should have at least 1-2 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or a related field, along with strong financial analysis skills, knowledge of deal structures and terms, and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
