•Develop and execute the sales strategy for IT infrastructure services (AMC, FMS), hardware, and cloud/cybersecurity offerings.
•Lead B2B business development efforts, targeting corporates, SMEs, and enterprise clients.
•Build and manage a pipeline of potential leads through networking, cold outreach, LinkedIn, and industry connects.
•Own the sales cycle: from lead generation, pitching, proposal making, negotiations, to closure.
•Respond to RFPs, tenders, and empanelments (government or PSU where applicable).
•Work closely with the technical and service delivery teams to ensure feasibility and accurate scoping.
•Monitor monthly sales targets, conversion ratios, and report on progress to leadership.
•Forge OEM/distributor partnerships and explore channel sales if applicable.
•Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
•Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or Engineering/ BCA / MCA/ or equivalent.
•
MBA/PGDM in Marketing or Sales is a strong advantage (not mandatory if experience-rich).
Preferred Skills:
•Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, AMC/FMS models, hardware procurement, and pricing.
•Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and cybersecurity offerings.
•Great communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
•Proficiency in tools like CRM, Excel, PowerPoint, and use of LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
•Ability to operate independently and build a sales process with minimal guidance.
•Strong knowledge of: Servers, storage, networking, firewalls, Windows/Linux environments, AMC & FMS engagement models.
•Excellent communication and presentation skills.
•Familiarity with OEM products such as HP, Dell, Cisco, Fortinet, etc.
•Experience in responding to tenders/e-procurement portals is a plus.
Graduate / BCA / MCA / Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience (4 or more years in a technical field with supervisory experience)
Considerable and current experience as a Manager of a system integrator company with a medium, large and enterprise sized client base.
High-level knowledge and presales for IT Infrastructure support.
Working knowledge of current communications devices and protocols, server and desktop technologies.
Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously.
Dependability, self-direction, initiative, and ability to work with different types of people.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
