Job Description

HR Manager - Operations

ROLE OVERVIEW:

HR Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain and optimize HR systems, HRMS data accuracy, and reporting standards.
Ensure timely payroll inputs, attendance tracking, and leave management coordination with the finance/payroll team.
Develop, review, and implement HR policies, SOPs, and process improvements.
Manage HR documentation, employment contracts, and statutory record-keeping.
Lead employee engagement activities, culture-building initiatives, and communication programs.
Act as a point of contact for employee queries, conflict resolution, and grievance handling.
Support annual/quarterly performance review cycles.
Guide managers on performance documentation and improvement planning.
Track goal setting, appraisal timelines, and maintain performance records.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory regulations (PF, ESIC, Shops & Establishments, etc.).
Manage audits, HR compliance checks, and adherence to company policies.
Maintain confidentiality and data protection standards.
Prepare regular HR dashboards (turnover, hiring metrics, attendance, etc.).
Provide insights to leadership for decision-making.
Monitor HR KPIs and process effectiveness.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree; MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
5–7 years of experience
in HR operations, employee lifecycle management, and HR generalist functions.
Strong understanding of labor laws and HR compliance.
Hands-on experience with HRMS tools and Excel reporting.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
High attention to detail with excellent organizational abilities.
