Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive HR Manager who can own the entire HR function end-to-end — from talent acquisition to employee engagement, from compliance to culture. The ideal candidate is hands-on, process-driven, and passionate about building a high-performing and happy workplace.


Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Hiring

  • Draft and post job descriptions across platforms.
  • Screen candidates on basic filters before passing to hiring managers.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews.
  • Manage offers, background verification (BGV), and onboarding.
  • Continuously hunt for new talent to maintain a healthy pipeline.

Talent Management

  • Identify good talent and flag poor performers early.
  • Ensure high talent density across the organization.
  • Support in performance reviews and provide inputs on fitment.
  • Work on employee benefits and retention initiatives.

HR Operations

  • Develop, update, and execute HR policies (leave, remote work, etc.).
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes smoothly.
  • Ensure legal and compliance requirements (POSH, IT, Data Security, etc.).
  • Handle employee documentation and records.

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Organize team-building and engagement activities.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Be the point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.
  • Ensure alignment between teams and take corrective actions if needed.

Learning & Development

  • Conduct training sessions on policies (e.g., POSH, data security, IT).
  • Support managers in skill development and career growth initiatives.


What We’re Looking For

  • 3–7 years of HR experience in fast-growing startups / tech companies.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end HR functions (TA, operations, engagement, compliance).
  • Good judgment in identifying high vs low talent.
  • Excellent communication and people-management skills.
  • Process-oriented, empathetic, and culture-focused mindset.
