Role Description We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and streamline our end-to-end HR operations. This full-time, on-site role in Mumbai involves overseeing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, policy development, performance management, and compliance with HR laws. In addition, the HR Manager will be responsible for managing payroll and salary administration , ensuring accurate, timely processing and adherence to statutory requirements. The role also includes driving employee engagement initiatives and supporting a healthy, productive work culture. Key Responsibilities HR Operations & Recruitment Manage end-to-end recruitment, hiring and onboarding processes Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR documentation Oversee attendance, leave policies, and workforce planning Salary & Payroll Management Handle monthly salary processing, payroll accuracy, and timely disbursements Coordinate with finance for payroll reconciliation and budgeting Ensure compliance with statutory requirements Maintain confidentiality and handle salary structure updates, increments, and compensation reviews Employee Relations & Engagement Serve as the point of contact for employee concerns and conflict resolution Improve employee satisfaction through engagement activities and feedback systems Promote a positive workplace environment aligned with company values Performance & Policy Management Lead performance review cycles, appraisals, and KPI tracking Develop, implement, and revise HR policies, SOPs, and code of conduct Ensure company compliance with labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices Qualifications Strong understanding of HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, and workforce planning Experience with policy development, HR compliance, and performance management Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities Experience in fostering employee engagement and maintaining a positive work culture Proficiency in HRMS platforms and talent management systems Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (HR certification is a plus) Minimum 2 years of HR experience , with prior managerial experience preferred
