🧩 About the Role We’re looking for someone who can bring structure, rhythm, and delivery discipline to our engineering team — from chaos to clarity. You’ll lead the creation of all core engineering processes from scratch — planning, execution, QA handoffs, and release cycles — and ensure the team ships predictably and collaboratively. You’ll work closely with our Product and Tech Leads to build a high-performance delivery engine that scales with our product and team. 🎯 What You’ll Own 🧩 Build Engineering Processes from the Ground Up Set up sprint planning, estimation, retrospectives, QA handoffs, and release cycles from scratch . Choose and implement tools for project management (Jira, Linear, Trello, etc.) and process tracking. Define ownership models, documentation standards, and delivery rituals tailored to a fast-moving SaaS team. 📈 Drive Team Coordination & Delivery Work closely with product, design, and engineering to turn vague ideas into clear deliverables with predictable timelines. Own sprint execution and ensure visibility across stakeholders. Monitor progress, unblock issues, and manage risks to delivery. 🔧 Technical Collaboration (Secondary) Partner with senior engineers and tech leads for architecture decisions and scalability discussions. You don’t need to be hands-on with code, but you should understand the implications of tech decisions and help guide trade-offs. 🧪 Monitoring & Quality Assurance Own delivery health by tracking key metrics (e.g., velocity, cycle time, bug rate). Set up and optimize reporting dashboards and tracking tools. Partner with QA and DevOps (or equivalent roles) to ensure smooth deployments and minimal production issues. 🧠 You’re a Great Fit If You Have 6+ years of total experience, with 2+ years in an engineering management or delivery lead role. Proven track record of introducing and scaling engineering processes in fast-paced or early-stage environments. Strong experience in project management, agile methodologies, and sprint execution. Exceptional communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams. A people-first mindset with a knack for building trust, motivating teams, and resolving conflicts. Comfortable using tools like Jira, Confluence, Asana, Trello, ClickUp, etc. ✅ Nice to Have Basic understanding of AWS or modern web architecture. Exposure to SOC2/GDPR or other compliance-sensitive environments. Familiarity with CI/CD, version control, or code review practices.
