HR & Admin Manager

Purpose of the Role

This role is responsible for overseeing both the human resources and administrative functions of the organisation. The objective is to ensure efficient HR operations (recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations) and smooth office/administrative operations (facilities, vendors, supplies, general office logistics) in alignment with organisational strategy. Key Responsibilities

Human Resources

  • Manage full-life cycle recruitment: job postings, screening, interviews, selection, onboarding. CVzen+1
  • Maintain HR records (attendance, leave, contracts, employee data) and ensure compliance with relevant labour laws and internal policies. slmmdmc.gov.sl+1

  • Design and implement performance management processes (KRAs/KPIs, appraisals, feedback, development plans). CVzen+1
  • Manage employee relations: grievances, conflicts, disciplinary procedures, engagement and retention initiatives. CVzen+2Huneety+2
  • Oversee compensation & benefits administration, salary benchmarking, payroll coordination. CVzen+1
  • Provide HR strategic support: contribute to HR strategy aligned with business objectives, analyse HR metrics, monitor trends. elrha.org+1

Administration & Office Operations

  • Ensure efficient office operations: facilities management, vendor/supplier management, procurement of supplies, office maintenance. Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy+1

  • Develop and maintain administrative policies and procedures, continuously improve admin workflows and efficiency. Superworks+1

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s or MBA/HR certification (e.g., SHRM, PHR) may be preferred. Superworks+1
  • Several years of experience in a combined HR & Admin role (often 5 + years, or 8–10 years in larger organisations). iimjobs.com+1

  • Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work cross-functionally and handle confidential matters. CVzen

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in a similar industry or multi-location operations.
  • Proven track record of process improvement, change management in HR/Admin domains.

  • Time to fill vacancies, onboarding success metrics
  • Employee turnover rate, engagement/retention metrics
  • Accuracy and timeliness of HR/admin processes (e.g., payroll, leave management, vendor payments)
  • Cost control in administration (vendor contracts, supplies)
  • Compliance (labour law, health & safety, internal policies)
  • Feedback from stakeholders (employees, management, vendors)

Reporting & Interface

  • Supervises: HR Executive/Coordinator, Admin staff
  • Interfaces with: Senior leadership, department heads, vendors/suppliers, external HR/legal consultants
