Job Title: Jewellery Sales Assistant Overview:

We are looking for a friendly, customer-focused Jewellery Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for jewellery, strong communication skills, and the ability to provide exceptional service to every customer. You’ll help clients select pieces that suit their style and budget while maintaining the store’s professional image and high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a warm and professional manner.
• Provide detailed product information about jewellery items, including materials, stones, and care instructions.
• Help customers choose pieces for themselves or as gifts, offering styling and pairing advice.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Handle cash, card, and other payment methods securely.
• Maintain store displays and ensure jewellery pieces are clean, well-presented, and properly secured.
• Monitor stock levels and assist in restocking or inventory checks.
• Meet or exceed individual and store sales targets.
• Stay up to date with new product lines, promotions, and industry trends.
• Handle customer enquiries, returns, and exchanges professionally.
• Ensure all security and loss prevention procedures are followed.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous retail or sales experience (jewellery experience preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service focus with attention to detail.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.

Desirable Attributes:

• Knowledge of gold , gemstones, precious metals, and jewellery care.
• Experience working with high-value or luxury items.
• Sales-driven attitude and enthusiasm for fashion and design.

Working Conditions:

• Retail store environment.
• Standing for extended periods.
• May involve some lifting of small boxes or display materials.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
