Jewellery Sales Assistant

The Jewellery Sales Executive will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets, and building customer relationships. The role involves showcasing gold, diamond, and precious stone jewellery, handling customer queries, and ensuring a high standard of showroom presentation and product knowledge.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Engagement & Sales

• Greet customers and identify their needs with a warm, professional approach
• Demonstrate and explain product features, pricing, and quality details
• Assist customers in selecting jewellery based on occasion, preference, and budget
• Convert potential leads into sales to meet and exceed monthly targets
• Upsell and cross-sell products to increase sales value

Product Knowledge & Presentation

• Maintain complete knowledge of product details including metal purity, gemstone quality, certifications, karat value, craftsmanship, and design trends
• Keep updated with ongoing offers, schemes, pricing changes, and festive promotions
• Ensure display counters and showcases are clean, organized, and visually appealing

Billing & Documentation

• Assist with billing, invoicing, and POS operations
• Explain warranty, return/exchange policies, and after-sales services to customers
• Maintain customer records, sales logs, feedback, and follow-up details

Customer Service & Relationship Building

• Handle customer complaints politely and resolve issues or escalate when required
• Build long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
• Maintain client follow-up through calls/messages for new collections, offers, and events

Showroom Operations

• Participate in daily stock counting, stock rotation, and security checks
• Coordinate with internal teams for product availability, repair orders, and custom designs
• Maintain grooming, body language, and etiquette standards as per showroom policy

Skills & Qualifications

• 1–5 years experience in jewellery, retail, luxury, or customer-facing sales (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer knowledge (POS/Billing software)
• Knowledge of gold, diamond, and gemstone certification standards is an advantage
• Good negotiation, persuasion, and product presentation skills

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
