A journal administrator manages the administrative and operational aspects of a scholarly journal, ensuring smooth workflow from submission to publication. This includes tasks like handling manuscript submissions, facilitating peer review, managing communication with authors and reviewers, and maintaining records. Key Responsibilities : Processing manuscript submissions, including initial checks for completeness and compliance with guidelines. Facilitating the peer review process by managing communication with reviewers and editors. Tracking the progress of manuscripts through various stages of review and revision. Ensuring timely processing of submissions and adherence to publication schedules. Acting as the primary point of contact for authors, reviewers, and editors. Responding to inquiries and providing support related to submissions and the review process. Maintaining the journal's database and records. Candidate Profile : Qualification: Undergraduates from Computer science background passed out from 2023 to 2025 academic year. Must Have: Strong administrative and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using online submission and peer review systems. Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Shift Timings: Rotational Shift 1 6:15 AM to 1:45 PM Shift 2 1:45 AM to 9:15 PM Shift 3 9:15 AM to 6:15 PM (No Night shift for female candidates) Note : This role is not in to System Administration or Office Administration. This role is completely in to Journal publishing activities. Interested candidates can directly take up interview on 24th June from 10 AM to 12 PM on below mentioned venue.

Interested candidates can directly take up the interview on 16th &17th June from 10 AM to 1 PM on mentioned venue. Please bring headphones for online test. What is Graphics in Publishing industry? Graphic design is a craft where professionals create visual content to communicate messages. By applying visual hierarchy and page layout techniques, designers use typography and pictures to meet users specific needs and focus on the logic of displaying elements in interactive designs to optimize the user experience. Roles & Responsibilities: Responsible for making corrections and editing in the images and structures of the books, Journals and articles as per the client requirements. Eg. Figure Labeling, Editing in Figure caption, Colour Correction, Resizing without affecting the DPI/Pixel size, etc., Should be able to process all kinds of images like line art, raster and vector images in both print and online submission. While doing the file, clarify all doubts/instructions then and there and avoid assumptions. Ensure that all the process steps are followed as per SOP. Should be able to handle the complicated articles, critical jobs without Errors. Updates should be shared to the next shift operator. Candidate Profile: Qualification: Candidates who have pursued Diploma or Undergraduates in Visual arts, Graphics designing, In design or Printing Technology. Must Have: Should have basic computer knowledge and should be good in typing. Basic knowledge in designing tools like Photoshop and Illustrator will be an added advantage. Good eye for detail and should be able to identify mistakes in content. Should be an enthusiastic learner and have a passion for editing. Willing to work in rotational shifts.
