Job Responsibilities
Safety, Culture & Compliance
- Ensure the safety of the 4 M’s (Man, Machine, Material, Method) and nurture a culture aligned with the company’s values and mission for sustainable growth.
- Maintain discipline within the Gurugram office for the PPD Team.
- Ensure corporate compliance is understood and followed by all team members; motivate employees to escalate any unusual, unfair, abnormal, or suspicious acts involving employees, customers, or suppliers to protect the company from catastrophic risks.
- Keep the organization’s information confidential in accordance with NDA conditions.
Sales & Marketing Management
- Achieve marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, evaluating, advertising, and showcasing product capabilities through exhibitions and trade promotion strategies.
- Meet human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, disciplining employees, communicating job expectations, and reviewing performance.
- Implement strategic plans to achieve marketing and sales operational objectives; analyze market opportunities, consumer needs, local and global trends, and contribute to system improvements.
- Gather and analyze market data and trends, draft reports, implement customer service standards, complete audits, and recommend system improvements.
- Drive sales promotion programs, customer education, exhibitions, and trade shows to achieve organizational goals.
- Identify new selling opportunities in new markets and introduce new products in existing markets to improve market position and expand market share.
- Review and adjust sales plans and marketing strategies based on market conditions.
Financial Planning & Control
- Meet sales and marketing financial objectives by preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions through annual and gross-profit plans.
- Project expected sales volume and profits for existing and new products while developing pricing strategies based on competition, supply, and demand.
- Ensure the sales team meets business goals within budget.
- Achieve annual and quarterly accounts receivable targets (DSO, AR %, no bad debt) and inventory goals to support business unit profitability.
- Lead initiatives to reduce overall logistics and operational costs through optimal inventory management.
Team Management & Development
- Develop KPIs for the sales team and individual development plans for growth within the organization.
- Develop team leaders and guide the team to meet organizational goals, fostering a culture of learning and development.
Customer & Market Engagement
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients through regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating marketing opportunities.
- Provide market intelligence to influence management decisions.
- Accountable for demand forecasting and sales planning in coordination with SCM to ensure timely product delivery.
Strategy, Learning & Innovation
- Stay updated on industry trends by attending educational events, conferences, workshops, reading publications, and maintaining professional networks.
Audit & Risk Management
- Manage internal and external audits conducted by authorities, customers, internal auditors, and external auditors.
- Report audit findings to management and take corrective actions to eliminate potential risks and complications.
Authorities
- Make strategic decisions for the TPO sales vertical in consultation with management.
- Lead interactions with senior management, customers, auditors, and regulators.
- Decide pricing and marketing strategies; propose contingency plans.
- Set KPIs for sales and allocate/reallocate resources accordingly.
- Negotiate with customers within company pricing and policy limits.
- Approve product sampling and coordinate internally for customer requirements.
- Recommend credit approvals and initiate payment follow-ups in alignment with Finance.
- Propose new business leads and pricing suggestions based on market feedback.
- Decide on sales planning, inventory alignment, and order execution per SOPs, including trials at customer sites.
- Approve sales team and related expenses in accordance with company DOA.

Education and Experience
Education:
- MBA from a reputed institution with CIPET/PPT certification.
Experience:
- 15–18 years in Polymer/Chemistry, with a minimum of five years in a leadership role.
