Purpose

The primary responsibility will be to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of all schools, overseeing administrative duties including infrastructure to ensure a safe environment as well as to plan, forecast and budget

in accordance with business objectives.

Key Role and responsibilities

 Manage the day to day Administrative activities related to school operations.

 Requisitions for Curriculum Support and inventory of the same for the Primary; Middle and Senior School and effectively manage the same within set time lines.

 Ensure that all day to day updates with records on Student and staff data, Circulars, School events, tests, examinations, trips etc.

 Establish quality standards of checks on various services to School such as Transport, Catering, Security, Uniforms & those affecting the domains of School’s Teaching & Learning and Safety of the School environment.

 Ensure timely and appropriate arrangements for any training program, workshop, field

 Create a cooperative school-parent relationship by enhancing the school Image through effective and courteous Interaction and a positive issue-resolving attitude.

 Ensure that all the day to day issues related with external vendors and agencies are resolved within the time frame for the smooth and effective functioning of the school.

 Regular MIS is presented to the Principal.

 Plan a functional-MBWA (Management by walking around) with the Vice-Principal and the Principal.

 All urgent and important issues are brought to the notice of the Principal immediately.

 Contribute to the company’s values being understood, accepted and practised and

 Undertake other duties as directed by the Principal.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

The following accountabilities describe the major administrative functions for which the administrator is directly accountable.

 The Administrative functions in the School are efficiently managed and issues are resolved within agreed times & stipulated dates.

 Operations - Logistics, Security, Housekeeping, support staff.

 Operations & Records - Resources, furniture’s, tools, equipment’s, uniforms & fixtures.

 Maintenance & Repairs - Around the school & Ground

 Documentation of Staff, Students, School Circulars, events, test, Examination schedules and trips etc are efficiently managed.

 Records and checks on various services to School such as Transport, Catering, Security, Uniforms & those affecting the domains of School’s Teaching & Learning are effectively managed.

 Effective implementation of the ancillary management.

 School safety equipment is always in top condition.

 Cost effective, timely and appropriate arrangements for any requirements for training programs, workshops, field trips, SPA, Sports day, Annual concert or any other special day beyond the day to day requirements are met.

 A cooperative school-community relationship is maintained.

 Day to day issues related with external vendors and agencies are resolved within the time frame and stipulated dates.

 All administrative documents are regularly updated and well maintained

 All urgent and important issues are brought to the notice of the Principal immediately.

 Contribute to the company’s values being understood, accepted and practised and

 Undertake other duties as directed by the Principal.

Experience and Qualification

Essential

Desirable

 Business degree

 5-8 years’ experience at least 2 years of which should be in the education industry.

 MBA –Finance/Marketing/Operations

 Experience in education/ telecom/ insurance/ retail/ IT training sectors
