Job Description

Responsibilities · Identify and develop new business opportunities with federal, state, and local government agencies. · Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure. · Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and procurement officers in government entities. · Respond to RFPs, RFQs, and government tenders in coordination with the proposals and legal teams. · Monitor public procurement portals and stay up to date with upcoming bids and opportunities. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, finance, marketing, and product to tailor solutions that meet government needs. · Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and reports using CRM tools. · Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal company policies. · Represent the company at government trade shows, expos, and networking events. 2 Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). 5+ years of experience in B2G (Business-to-Government) sales or public sector business development. Strong understanding of government procurement processes and contracting regulations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and drive strategic sales initiatives. Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, SAP, or similar CRM platforms.
