Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Technician/Senior Technician to join our Systems Engineering team. The role involves hands-on work in the assembly and integration of telecom power systems , including cable harnessing, rack assembly, electrical switchgear assembly , and various electromechanical tasks . The ideal candidate should be proficient in using tools such as crimping tools, soldering irons, wire cutters, heat guns , and other standard assembly equipment. Key Responsibilities: Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of telecom power systems according to engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions. Assemble and install racks, panels, electrical switchgear , and related components. Carry out cable preparation tasks such as cutting, stripping, crimping, sleeving, soldering, and heat shrinking . Use hand tools, power tools , Crimping tools, Digital Multi-meters, and specialized equipment safely and effectively. Follow detailed assembly procedures and adhere to quality and safety standards . Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve technical issues during builds. Assist in prototype development and product testing when required. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Document assembly processes and update records as necessary. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to production efficiency and product quality. Required Skills and Qualifications: Diploma /ITI or certification in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or relevant field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical/mechanical assembly in a telecom, power systems, or industrial environment. Skilled in using crimping tools, soldering equipment, cable preparation tools , and related hardware. Ability to read and interpret engineering schematics, Engineering wiring diagrams , Mechanical 2D drawings and assembly drawings. Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and ESD practices . Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Detail-oriented with a high level of manual dexterity and precision. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a telecom or power plant infrastructure environment. Familiarity with AC/DC power systems , rectifiers , Solar Charge Controllers & battery backup units, and control circuits. IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification for cable and wire harness assemblies (optional but a plus). Work Environment & Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, bend, and work with hands for extended periods. Ability to lift to 25 kg safely. Work may involve occasional travel to client sites for installation support.
