Fitness Manager (Operational Level)
This role ensures that every trainer performs at peak efficiency, every member achieves visible progress, and every gym consistently meets its fitness and transformation goals.
Area Fitness Manager
Key Responsibilities (KRAs)
1. Trainer Performance & Attendance
- Ensure 100% daily attendance and punctuality of all trainers in the assigned 5 gyms.
- Monitor trainer discipline, grooming, and adherence to WTF uniform and conduct guidelines.
- Review trainer shift logs, check-in data, and member feedback daily.
- Conduct weekly one-on-one reviews with trainers to evaluate progress and set targets.
2. Personal Training (PT) Sales & Revenue
- Drive PT revenue achievement across all gyms in the cluster.
- Ensure every trainer achieves a minimum of ₹40,000 per month in PT revenue.
- Track PT lead conversions, upselling performance, and renewal influence through data dashboards.
- Support trainers in improving sales techniques, communication, and client conversion.
3. Client Transformations & Progress Tracking
- Ensure every gym achieves at least
10 client transformations per month
. - Monitor client progress through BCA reports, training schedules, and nutrition adherence.
- Conduct fortnightly client reviews with trainers to assess transformation journeys.
- Identify clients at risk of drop-off and coordinate with the front desk to re-engage them.
4. Member Experience & Satisfaction
- Maintain high standards of member engagement, hygiene, and gym environment.
- Audit gym floor interactions and client experience daily.
- Resolve escalations within 24 hours in coordination with the Area Fitness Manager.
- Ensure that every member feels guided, supported, and inspired to achieve results.
5. Operational Discipline & Compliance
- Enforce all SOPs related to trainer shifts, client sessions, and data reporting.
- Ensure equipment usage, floor conduct, and safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Maintain consistent coordination with front desk teams for daily PT updates, feedback, and attendance logs.
- Submit daily and weekly reports to the Area Fitness Manager with trainer metrics, transformations, and revenue status.
6. Team Development & Upskilling
- Identify trainer skill gaps and recommend upskilling or certification requirements.
- Conduct monthly workshops on transformation methodology, communication, and member management.
- Build a high-performance culture across all 5 gyms, focused on discipline, learning, and excellence.
KPIs & Metrics
at least 95% daily trainer attendance and compliance
member renewal influence rate of 80% or higher
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3–6 years of experience in fitness management, preferably across multi-gym or large-format setups.
- Strong understanding of personal training operations, sales processes, and client result tracking.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to handle 20–25 trainers.
- Data-driven and comfortable with dashboards, BCA tools, and CRM systems.
- ACE / ISSA / NASM certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Hands-on, energetic, and committed to achieving fitness and business excellence.
Compensation
Salary Range:
₹45,000 – ₹55,000 per monthIncentives:
Based on cluster PT revenue, transformation rate, and compliance metrics.
Growth Path
- High-performing Fitness Managers will be eligible for promotion to

roles within 6–9 months, based on performance consistency, leadership quality, and gym transformation results.
