Job Description As the Financial Analyst, you will get an exciting opportunity to work for a dynamic company and fast-growing finance department in the Center of Excellence. You will be responsible for the tasks involved in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) domain which will include analyzing data, passing journals, query resolution, and reporting for accounting close. Specific Responsibilities: Perform a detailed review of P&L for Support Functions and provide meaningful insights to the management to support strategic decisions. Assist in providing support on the causal Consolidations & Reporting Participate in month end, quarter end and year end reporting and provide variance commentaries as applicable across various legal entities Assist in the preparation of Annual Operating Plans and quarterly forecast by compiling data and preparing models, further monitor departmental spends as compared to budgets & forecasts. Collaborate with various accounting teams from our Parent (Global Finance Operations) to ensure timely and accurate closing of books Supporting the service delivery of Accounting Function for Global operations and legal entities: Accounting for Inter company, Payroll, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Projects, and General ledger Preparation of Balance sheet notes with schedules and sub-ledger reconciliations Monitor foreign exchange revaluations and analyze and understand the reasons for major variances Performing General Ledger activities, journals, corrections, standard journal entries, non-payroll accruals, transaction re-classes and review country specific tasks Review and report inventory sub-system transactions, reconcile and prepare margin analysis, assist in sub-system close and periodic cost roll activity Execute Fixed assets additions, transfers, and disposals as per accounting instructions and rules, manages sub-system close and reporting Monitor the intercompany accounting performed by the GFO, review monthly reconciliations and assist to reduce the aging Active participation in Audits and ensure timely submissions as per Auditor’s requirements, ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures. Improve data quality and integrity, continuously strive to bring in efficiencies, standardization and minimizing complexities. Prepare ad hoc reports as required for management decision making Qualifications Qualified Chartered Accountant with 4 years of post-qualification experience in similar roles Working with big 4 audit and assurance firms is desired Desired Skill set: Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills: good command of English Desired knowledge and understanding of Local Country GAAP and IFRS Ability to plan, prioritize and deliver under high pressure Proficient in Office 365 apps and ERP application Show more Show less
