Job Title: Finance Manager Experience Required: 8–10 years Industry: EPC Projects / Infrastructure / Engineering Location: Surat Reports to: Director / CFO / MD Salary: 6L to 8L per annum ⸻ Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead and oversee the financial operations of our EPC projects-driven SME. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning, cash flow management, budgeting, and project-based financial oversight. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring financial discipline, compliance, and strategic financial growth. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: • Project Financial Management: • Oversee financial aspects of multiple EPC projects including cost tracking, billing schedules, fund allocation, and budgetary control. • Work closely with project managers to monitor project cash flows and milestone-based revenues. • Cash Flow & Working Capital Management: • Prepare rolling cash flow forecasts to ensure liquidity for operations. • Manage vendor and client payments, credit cycles, and fund planning. • Liaise with banks and NBFCs for fund-based and non-fund-based credit lines (CC, BGs, LC). • Budgeting & Reporting: • Prepare annual budgets, MIS reports, and variance analysis. • Present monthly and quarterly financial statements to management with strategic insights. • Financial Compliance & Audits: • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory obligations. • Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and project audits. • Cost Optimization & Control: • Review procurement and operational costs for cost-saving opportunities. • Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets. • Team Management & Development: • Lead and mentor a small finance and accounts team. • Ensure timely and accurate data entry, invoicing, and reconciliations. ⸻ Key Skills & Competencies: • Strong understanding of EPC project financing, work-in-progress (WIP) accounting, and revenue recognition norms. • Proficient in cash flow modeling, project cost analysis, and fund management. • Expertise in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and financial planning software. • Familiarity with project funding instruments – BGs, LCs, Invoice Discounting, etc. • Ability to coordinate with banks, vendors, clients, and internal teams. • High level of integrity, leadership, and problem-solving skills. ⸻ Qualifications: • CA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com with relevant project finance experience. • Minimum 8–10 years in a finance role within an EPC / contracting SME setup.
