Role Summary
The Director – Finance will lead and develop a high-performing finance team responsible for ensuring robust financial governance, accurate reporting, and continuous improvement in financial operations. This role partners closely with executive leadership, business units, and global shared service centers to provide financial insights, strengthen internal controls, and support strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Oversee preparation of consolidated financial statements under U.S. GAAP for executive management and group reporting.
- Analyse operating results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and relevant regulations.
- Operational Finance
- Ensure timely and accurate accounts payable, receivable, and T&E processing, maintaining proper customer balances and compliance with Company policy and IRS regulations.
- Partner with global shared service centers (GCCs) to ensure consistency, accuracy, and efficiency of financial operations.
- Controls & Compliance
- Design, implement, and continuously enhance an effective system of internal controls over financial reporting.
- Coordinate external and internal audits, ensuring timely completion with minimal or no audit adjustments.
- Maintain compliance with corporate, statutory, and tax reporting requirements.
- Business Partnering & Communication
- Serve as a key liaison between local entities, HQ Finance teams (Treasury, FP&A, Billing, Accounts Payables, Revenue Accounting, Tax), and other support areas (Legal, HR, IT).
- Provide financial leadership for new business initiatives, process transformations, system implementations, acquisitions, and divestitures.

Required Skills & Competencies
- Extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP and corporate financial reporting.
- Proven leadership skills with ability to inspire, coach, and develop teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Advanced MS Excel skills; proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint.
- Hands-on experience with ERP and consolidation tools (Oracle, NetSuite, HFM, OneStream, etc.).
- Experience in multinational, multi-entity, or shared services environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Minimum 17+ years of post-qualification experience, with at least 7+ years in senior leadership roles within controllership or financial operations.
- Experience in shared services, captives, or global capability centers (GCCs) is mandatory.
- Proven track record in financial governance, system implementation, and business transformation initiative

- Clean audit results – no material audit adjustments other than valuation-related provisions.
