Job Role:


We are seeking a dynamic Digital & Technology Director to lead our Digital & Technology initiatives in India. This role involves overseeing project delivery, managing stakeholder relationships, and driving workstreams at the D&T India level. The ideal candidate will also serve as the Site Lead to support local office operations, possess extensive expertise in AI execution—including experience with Agentic AI frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:


Project Delivery Management:


  • Lead and oversee the end-to-end delivery of digital and technology projects, ensuring that they meet quality standards, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Develop project plans, including scope, objectives, resources, and schedules, while proactively managing project risks and issues.


Stakeholder Engagement:


  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment between technology initiatives and business objectives.
  • Facilitate regular communication with stakeholders to manage expectations and foster collaborative relationships.


Workstream Ownership:


  • Own and direct multiple workstreams within the Digital & Technology domain, ensuring strategic alignment and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor progress and performance metrics of workstreams to drive continuous improvement and innovation.


Site Leadership:


  • Serve as the Site Lead for the local office, providing operational support and guidance to teams while promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Foster team engagement and development through mentoring, coaching, and leading by example.


AI Strategy and Implementation:


  • Develop and execute AI strategies that support business goals, focusing on the integration and application of Agentic AI frameworks to enhance automation and decision-making.
  • Stay current with advancements in AI technologies and trends, evaluating their applicability to the organization’s objectives.


Agentic AI Development:


  • Design and implement solutions leveraging Agentic AI frameworks to create autonomous systems that effectively integrate into business processes.
  • Ensure that AI solutions operate within ethical standards and regulatory compliance.


Digital Data Management:


  • Establish and enforce data governance policies and practices to ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility across the organization.
  • Leverage digital data to derive insights that inform strategic decision-making and enhance customer experiences.


Advanced Analytics Implementation:


  • Lead the implementation of advanced analytics and business intelligence tools to transform data into actionable insights, driving operational and strategic improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytics requirements.


Team Development and Leadership:


  • Build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and accountability.

Key Requirements:


Full Stack Development Experience:


  • Extensive experience in full stack development, with a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies. This includes proficiency in languages and frameworks such as:
  • Front-End: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue.js, or similar frameworks.
  • Back-End: Node.js, Python, Java, .NET, or similar technologies.
  • 18+ years of experience in building and deploying scalable web applications and services that meet user needs and performance standards.


Database Management:


  • Strong knowledge of database technologies, SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) with the ability to design and manage efficient data models.
  • Experience in data migration, optimization, and ensuring data integrity across applications.


API Development and Integration:


  • Expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services, enabling seamless communication between different systems and applications.
  • Understanding of API management and security best practices.


DevOps and CI/CD Practices:


  • Familiarity with DevOps methodologies, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices to streamline development processes.
  • Experience with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, or similar technologies for containerization and orchestration.


User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Design:


  • Understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices, with the ability to guide teams in creating user-friendly interfaces and enhancing the overall user experience.
  • Experience in collaborating with designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into functional applications.


Cloud Computing and Infrastructure:


  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and experience in deploying applications in cloud environments, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) practices and tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) to manage cloud resources effectively.


Agile Methodologies:


  • Experience in Agile software development methodologies, enabling flexibility and responsiveness to changing project requirements and stakeholder feedback.
  • Ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) to drive team collaboration and productivity.


Technology Trends and Innovations:


  • Awareness of emerging technologies and trends in full stack development, AI, and data analytics, with a commitment to continuous learning and innovation.
  • Ability to evaluate and implement new tools and technologies that enhance development processes and outcomes.
