Exploring the role
We are looking for a passionate and strategic Senior Director – Inside Sales to drive our inside sales efforts across the APMEA region. This role is ideal for someone who’s not just great at closing deals but exceptional at building high-performing teams.This is your opportunity to shape how we connect with global prospects, nurture key relationships, and convert opportunities into long-term partnerships. You’ll lead by example, inspire through coaching, and help scale an inside sales function that’s central to our growth strategy. What You Will Do
- Manage a results-driven inside sales team focused on generating new business, converting leads, and expanding our global footprint across APMEA and broader global markets.
- Proven experience of having scaled Inside Sales and SDR function in a b2b SaaS environment, preferably in the Hospitality space.
- Lead the development of key Sales and Marketing materials (e.g. standard client presentation, elevator pitch, collateral sheet, etc.)
- Strong existing relationships/mapping, develop new relationships and active engagement with the key decision-makers and influencers from Hospitality ecosystem, includes independent luxury hotels, regional/local hotel chains, complementing technology partners and local hotel associations in Indonesia for RateGain’s Hospitality products.
- Drive strategic account planning and pursue large-scale “top-down” opportunities at the Brand, Ownership and Management levels.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, GTM, and Marketing to align messaging and delivery
- Establish clear KPI’s, dashboards, and performance frameworks to track activity, effectiveness, and conversion rates.
- Ensure disciplined use of CRM and sales engagement tools to track activity, manage leads, and drive forecasting accuracy.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and inclusive sales culture focused on growth, learning, taking data-driven decisions and customer-centric selling.
- Provide continuous inputs, product feedback and product development activities to the internal organisation, based on market/customer needs.
What you need to succeed:
- 12–16 years of experience in inside sales, demand generation, or SDR/BDR leadership roles. with significant time spent in selling B2B/SaaS, Hospitality Technology or Online Travel solutions to hotels.
- Strong proficiency in sales process management, deal structuring, and delivering customer value through tailored solutions.
- 5+ years of people management experience leading high-performing sales teams.
- Demonstrated success selling into APMEA markets and navigating regional business nuances.
- Strong understanding of SaaS/B2B sales models, sales qualification frameworks (e.g., BANT, MEDDIC), and sales automation tools.
- Excellent time management, organisational skills, and the ability to prioritize fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Graduation / post-graduation in related fields with excellent communication skills.
- Experience in travel, hospitality, SaaS, or tech-enabled businesses.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar platforms
- Strong familiarity with APMEA market dynamics, buyer personas, and sales cycles in mid-market segments.
