The Enterprise Financial Services function at PGS is the extended arm of the accounting, finance, tax, and treasury functions of the corporate SCBU and the respective business units as well. PGS Head of EFS will play the role of the strategic leader responsible for service delivery & operations, transitions, continuous improvement and operational excellence, operational risk, and finance journey foundation program (ERP implementation)As a key member of the PGS SCBU Leadership Team, this role will require the individual to be independent to understand and prioritize the strategic and tactical roadmap. This role requires the ability to define and implement strategy and manage BAU operations with a fine balance of independence and interdependence. This role demands a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation, a keen eye for detail, and a proven track record in leading large- scale projects within complex organizational structures.This is a role which requires a passionate, mature, articulate leader with capability to identify and understand stakeholder needs and assess priorities, assumptions, and constraints independently. This role will bring together building and developing inclusive teams and leaders, collaboration across global organizational matrix and have subject matter expertise in general management of finance & accounting vertical.Essential deliverables: the section helps understand the job ownership and accountability
- Represent PGS on the Finance Journey Program, actively contributing to the design, build and run phase of the project, through subject matter experts and project support team
- Responsible for identification of opportunities for Global Delivery, by conducting capability assessment and engaging with key stakeholders to demonstrate PGS's potential capabilities for future.
- Oversee the planning and execution of transitions for new processes & services into the PGS operating model and governance framework.
- Ensure seamless integration of new processes with minimal disruption to ongoing operations by monitoring and reporting on the progress of transitions, addressing any challenges or risks proactively.
- Leadthe journey of BU Finance team extensions/ shared services into the development of the Center of Excellence based on defined and aligned
- Establish a culture of continuous improvement through training, mentoring, and fostering a mindset of innovation & identify areas for process optimization. Identify opportunities for automation within existing processes to enhance efficiency and
- Ensurecompliance with relevant regulations and standards while implementing modern
- Be able to lead and manage an aspiring team of highly skilled and tenured staff, providing leadership, coaching to meet/exceed business strategic priorities and add value beyond targets.
- Manage, Inspire, and motivate Operations leaders to achieve operational excellence, high employee engagement and improvement of overall service delivery.
- Skilledin managing global stakeholders across geographies and navigating the global matrix organization through collaboration and influence without authority.
- Establishand continually improve program/ project management and execution processes including Risk Management, communication management, resource management, defect management & prevention, communication management, and cost management.
- Displays big picture thinking with an ability to be hands on during times of transformation and change and provides directional coaching and holistic roadmap to drive PGS business and strategic
- Translate growth plans into strong strategic workforce plans with global partners and PGS Business Enablement Services partners to enable execution of the plans.
- Establish a control environment for all accounting and finance processes to ensure risk free, defect free execution of activities driving regulatory compliance focus from PGS
- Display commercial mindset and leadership maturity around harnessing support through influence and building relationships.
- Preemptive and proactive Risk management by enabling first line of defense by adopting and driving execution of the operations risk management framework within PGS.
- Understand and represent Principal code of conduct, core values, leadership expectations and stay guided by them while making decisions, leading teams, partnering, and coaching to build strong succession.

Qualifications
Qualifications-Certifications-Relevant Work Experience
Preferred Educational Background.
- Master's degree/ Professional Degree/ Relevant Industry Certification where applicable
- Proven track record of being exposed to ERP solutions from a functional
- Strong knowledge & experience of having overseen transition and transformation (process, digital, etc) for Finance & Accounting domain.
- Must have a good knowledge and experience of working in Operational Excellence environment, certification in any of the improvement methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, is preferable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving,and decision-making skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
Total years of industry experience:
Minimum 20 years' experience in Finance & Accounting domain, either in GCC / service provider environment of which at least 3 years in heading the overall finance shared services
