The offering is divided into sub-offerings: Advisory, Kronos and Infor specializing and operating in assessing, advising, designing, building, operationalizing and helping clients implement and streamline payroll and workforce management solutions.Advisory Offering: OverviewThe Advisory offering is centered towards providing professional services to clients in retsTptecoechthneolgboeAlwydoasvrieaosry: in Payroll and WFM spaceGlobal Strategy & Roadmap formulationOperating Model & Organizational DesignVendor SelectionShared Services Design and SetupCompliance Review & Assessments for Payroll and WFMPolicy & Process Optimization in Payroll and WFM spaceLabor Cost OptimizationMergers and Acquisition in Payroll and WFM spaceProject ManagementWork You’ll Do – Payroll Project ManagerLead Project Planning and Execution: Oversee the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of payroll projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, timelines, and quality standards.Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact between client teams, internal resources, and third-party vendors, facilitating effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.Requirements Management: Organize and lead requirement gathering sessions, collaborating with client subject matter experts to define business needs and translate them into actionable project deliverables.Solution Design Oversight: Guide the design and documentation of future-state payroll processes, ensuring solutions are scalable, compliant, and tailored to client requirements (global and local).Vendor & Technology Management: Oversee the evaluation, selection, and implementation of payroll and workforce management systems, coordinating with vendors and IT teams to ensure successful system integration.Project Monitoring & Reporting: Track project progress against milestones, manage project plans, and proactively identify and address risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes. Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership.Testing & Quality Assurance: Lead and coordinate testing activities, including parallel testing, test case development, data validation, and defect resolution, to ensure system accuracy and compliance.Issue Resolution & Troubleshooting: Monitor project activities and system transactions, promptly addressing and resolving issues to minimize disruption and ensure project success.Deployment & Change Management: Manage deployment activities, including go-live planning, hyper care, and post-implementation support. Oversee change management efforts to drive user adoption and process alignment.Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all project deliverables meet regulatory, legal, and organizational compliance standards. Promote best practices in payroll operations and project management.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within payroll operations, recommending and implementing enhancements as appropriate.Client Success & Accountability: Demonstrate ownership and accountability for project outcomes, ensuring client satisfaction and the achievement of business goals.
Additional Responsibilities
Collaborate with project teams and client stakeholders in a virtual environment to support project deliveryWork independently, with minimal supervision to ensure the timely delivery of all project deliverablesGather information through research and conduct analysis to derive insights and develop client recommendationsAct as liaison and subject matter expert with internal client organizations and peer technology partners on payroll and workforce applicationsKeep abreast with latest Payroll & WFM trends, global standards and industry best practices and benchmarksCoordinate communications and training as per requirementAssist in creation of content for RFP/RFI in the Payroll and HR Transformation spaceContribute to practice building and other internal practice initiativesSkill RequirementEducational Requirements:oBachelor’s DegreeoMaster’s in human resource management is an added advantageExperience & Knowledge
- Proven experience in leading payroll and workforce management projects, including system implementations, upgrades, or migrations
Strong understanding of payroll and workforce management solutions such as SAP, SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle Fusion, Peoplesoft, Lawson, Infor, Ultimate Software, KronosExperience with third-party payroll services (e.g., ADP GlobalView, Ceridian Dayforce) is highly desirableDemonstrated expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana)Experience with vendor selection, technology advisory, and system integration for payroll solutionsFamiliarity with compliance review & assessments, policy & process optimization, and parallel testing/reconciliationBackground in HR operations, HR consulting, or HR transformation projects is preferredExperience in shared services environments, mergers and acquisitions, or operating model design is an advantageCertificationsProject Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferredPayroll or Workforce Management certification (e.g., CPP, FPC) is an added advantageTechnical & Analytical SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex payroll issuesProficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio); experience with project management software/toolsCommunication & Interpersonal SkillsExcellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiencesStrong interpersonal skills; able to work effectively in teams and collaborate across all organizational levelsDemonstrated ability to manage stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and drive consensusPersonal AttributesAbility to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and adapt to changing project requirementsHigh attention to detail, organizational skills, and accountability for project deliverablesComfortable dealing with ambiguity and driving clarity in complex project
